Chile with yet another good game and with another victory. The Chile - Spain game will be interesting. Chile might eliminate Spain or vise versa. I believe Switzerland will step up against Honduras and win with 2 goal difference.
Interesting, but I do hope Spain will come back stronger than ever and do well. :D

But Honduras seems really sucky. My prediction, though is that Spain will just score one goal and that's it. Very happy with Portugal! That's the way I knew them. The Cote d'Ivoire match was the one that shocked me. I really didn'r care about the Chile/Switzerland game since I sorta like both but no exactly. I thought it migth end up a tie with one goal each. About Portugal/North Korea - I thought it would be something like 3-1 or 4-1 in Portugal's favour.

The referee should have pointed for a penalty in favor of Spain at least once. :| I don't know what the hell is wrong with the non-Euroepan referees. The one from Mali cancelled a clear goal for USA against Slovenia. :?

2-0! Villa is on fire!

Spain plays beautifully. Play like this for the rest of the tournament and I see no chance to stop them. :D

Hotness?

Plus he's very talented on the field on one of his good days. Too much of a cry-baby though.

Well done Spain!!! Should have been 5:0!!! :D Spain has a thin bench, like Germany. :p

I'm so worried... :(
Yeah,we played well, kinda beautiful maybe.....okay... :|
But we won just 2-0 over Honduras (I mean it was not Brazil, Germany or England). I thought the other day was just bad luck, but it seems there's something more (maybe so much pressure over the players, dunno...). I didn't like some things and we should correct them, otherwise we will not defeat Chile and we'll be out:

- We clearly have a play-style and that's the only way we can play, so I don't want them to change it. But we are not the underdogs anymore like in EuroCup. The rest know how we play and they'll adapt their own play to stop us. So Spain should've predicted that we would find ultra-defensive teams and adapt our play to them ;)

- I support our way of playing, it's ours, but.....COME ON!!! This is about scoring goals, not about who makes the most passes in a row. It happened many times that they could score and they just passed the ball to other player and the same thing 4-5 times instead of shooting!!!! :|
More decission in general in attack...

- I really, really fear our defense..... :?
Puyol is not really having his days, Piqué must have some forward complex cause he never helps behind... :?
ANd Busquets is not really prepared at all to be permanent. On the other hand, why in hell we have one of the best midfield players of Premier League (Cèsc Fabregas) and he always starts in the bench???????? That's a real SHAME :| We all saw today how the game changed when he entered....

Anyway, I'm kinda optimistic because of Chile. They are a team which plays really good, despite not having many big stars and are not an ultra-defensive team else. They are IMO similar to Russia and we got our best results against Russia last Euro, even if they were the best players among our oponents (IMO).

But I predict we'll suffer a lot :(

Things aren't great in the French camp, and they're after a boycott. Introducing CRAZY FRENCHY SCENARIO! What better way to protest than to score as many own goals as possible, while the home fans are cheering you on and on? They'll stop eventually.

South America are owning this tournament anyways.

Might as well pick a realistic/predictable/boring result for one game at least.[/center:3g4d8no8]

Yay, my favourites will go through! xcheer

Pablo, I think the problem in Spain, like in Germany, is the thin bench. The players that came as substitution weren't impressing. Spain played really well and should have scored 4-5 goals. Chile is not playing like Russia, different style. I hope Chile qualifies, so Switzerland can flop. I don't like the way they play.

My predictions for tomorrow's games:
South Africa - France 0:0, nobody will score here
Mexico - Uruguay 0:0, or here  Funny thing is that this game is removed from betting places. It really looks like it will be a tie. :)
Greece - Argentina 0:3, Argentina is not a wanted opponent at the moment.
Nigeria - South Korea 1:0, the Nigerian goalie will own the net and we can see Nigeria in the 1/8 finals hopefully!
