I know that this question is kinda stupid, but is possible that this year in thr 60º Aniversary of Eurovision 2015, a Gay Masculine men (Without dressing like a woman, ofc :p) will win this year after Conchita victory as inspiration for future LBGT singers who wants wins ESC with the Gay European support as Conchita got this year, or the thing will not change that much..?

I had a feeling that for the next year that another gay singer will win ESC for sure.. ;)

Does it matter? I don't think it would be remarkable if a gay man won these days.

I know that this couldn't be relevant in ESC, but as we have a transexual winner (Dana International), A Lesbian winner (Marija Šerifović) and a Transvestie winner (Conchita) only a single open gay men still to win ESC and complete the Sexual Revolution.. but specially will send another message to Eastern European countries and Putin that Eurovision is a gay festival, and you have to adapt to it or leave it

I don't care at all about the performer's sexual orientation. For the what matters the most is song and then the appearance - it's nothing about one's sexual orientation.

But its seems more a festival gay because:

1 - The 70% of Eurofans are gay
2- All the Eurovision concerts are full of Gay people who attend it
3 - EBU lately openly was promoted the Homosexuality as ever
4 - Some Eurovision artists use this contest to exploit sordid their extra-musical aspects
5 - Now with the victory of Conchita, if any openly gay guy comes to an national preselection or is chosen internally or with a good song and promotes gay rights, there are no doubt that he will get the massive gay support as Conchita get this year

Most of the famous gay singers are in the closet (or just hiding their private life) even nowadays in Europe. Especially when they're still young, which is the case of the huge majority of ESC artists. So it's difficult. But I don't care. Let the best one win.

This is the reason why I hope more openly LGBT+ singers will participate in Eurovision, because it will be a sign of greater acceptance for out entertainers in general. And I hope Conchita's victory encourages that. (Bit of an oddly specific question in the OP, though, no comment.)

This. Our reigning champion is a gay man. Shouldn't matter about being masculine or not.

Doesnt really matter anyway: only thing that matters is that is everybody feels able to participate regardless of who they are.

Eurovision isn't a gay contest, it just so happens to have a large and vocal fan following.

We've had gay, lesbian and transgender winners. That should be good enough. It does not matter whether someone is a flaming queen, masculine, androgynous, asexual. It's all about what song they bring. I'm all for colour and fun in the contest which often comes with gay culture, so if someone's camp or stereotypical, it doesn't irk me. We did the whole "gay acceptance" thing this year with Conchita. Luckily she had the best song (in my opinion) so it was a deserved win.

Let's just let whatever happens, happen. I don't want someone to win just because they are gay though and not a stereotype. I want whoever brings the best song to win.
