Funny, I actually like the Swedish entry this year and think it is certainly much better than last years effort, does stand out and could do well....so I guess this makes me a misguided fan.........!
You clearly are (in my opinion) if you think it will do well. You can like the entry however much you want, it's your personal opinion. But based on previous voting patterns within the televoting public and professional juries, I would say Sweden doesn't stand a chance. If we do make it to the final, then it's Top 15 if we're lucky.

To win? When Hell freezes over with Haagen-Dazs.

I think they should change back to the old rules. That the 10 first contries in the final might be qualifikated to the final next year too as before. It was better.

I just have a bad feeling that -hr will flop in the Semifinal and if that happens I don't know if I can manage to survive!

What??? Nooooooooo, don't say that
I'm sure we will qualify, you're probably saying this because of Slovakia, but Feminnem know how to sing, unlike Kristina ;)
Slovakia has had a bad performance, the girl was shaking from fear all the time, and it is no wonder that they didn't qualify.

Well! I had a nightmare about that! I really hope -hr is in the first envelope so I can watch the results without my heart going Dum Tek Tek

I said it could do well. I didn't say it would win. It will not....

You have a personal opinion. So do I. That doesn't make either of us wrong, nor does it make me misguided.

And as a Swede (I'm guessing you'll correct me if I am wrong) you should at least be proud that your country takes this seriously even if you disgree with their choice: I am from the UK and we've sent a complete dog of a song this year....

And I'd say you'd be misguided to think even that. Top 10 material it is not.

It's not a personal opinion. How well an entry does is a prediction that should be based not on your personal opinion of a song but on your estimation of how well it will resonate among the viewing public (and as of last year: the professional jury). It is not my personal opinion that says that Sweden will do badly (although I hate the entry with a passion). It is my analytical thinking and review of past voting history that tells me this.

Yeah, I can be proud of that. But I can also be ashamed of the fact that the Swedish people constantly sends or at least vote a lot for entries that stand no chance at doing well at Eurovision and that the entries then always, always go on to have underwhelming stage shows, even when the songs by their very nature demand elaborate stage shows.

It's like the Swedish televoters (and worse, the Swedish juries) have no idea of what Europe wants and the entrants they elect never take even 5 seconds to think of good choreography.

Wow, what nightmares you have
If Croatia won't be drawn out in the first five envelopes, I will certainly turn off my TV, because my heart is weak for such things

Some webs and blogs about Eurovision think that with Denmark the next flop could be, after her worst dress rehearsal today...

AZERBAIJAN!!!

Nothing would make me happier..not personally as I'm sure Safura is a lovely girl, but I can't bear the fact that you can win this contest simply by chucking enough money at it...it's all a bit desperate.

It surely will be drawn last, now. Well, Hadise's learned to live with it, you should, too.

I hope God hears you! But I don't see this happening :?

But I don't see it doing very well in the final, either Germany. Both had very bad vocal performances in their rehearsal.

Anyone could win now :geek:

Lucikly, I was wrong, but I don't like that feeling

Ireland will flop big time in the final and UK could do a lot better than people think imo.

I have a feeling Germany will do a lot worse than people expect, possibly not even making it into the top 10.
I also have a feeling unless Safura starts to sing better at the performances and stops sounding so angry in the song it will be a disappointment for that delegation too.

Keeping on topic (as much as I'd like to talk about the wheels potentially coming off the Azerbaijan juggernaut), sometimes it is best not to revisit past triumphs (unless you are Johnny Logan).

Ireland could well flop. It sounds a lot like 'love shine a light' , only worse.

And as much as I hate bashing my own country, the only way the U.K can flop is if they give out minus points, such is our low expectation (sorry Josh).

And the Swedes think that they have a problem... ;)
