Alert in Fukushima for radioactive water.

Fukushima problem is not fixed yet and most probably this will afect Tokyo's bid.

It's time for an asian country again; either Istanbul or Tokyo.

It's the day. So the current leaks claim, three cities have almost equal votes. One of these leaks: Tokyo 33, Istanbul 31, and Madrid 29.

In my opinion; if Istanbul leads to final voting, it's going to win.

But if Istanbul is eliminated in first tour, I hope Madrid wins.

I´d like Madrid just because I have friends there who can host me if I want to live the Olympic experience...also, Madrid is a cheap city (comparing with Helsinki) So, my support to Madrid has selfish reasons. I have no idea about the plus and minus of the organisation there.

To be honest for my own personal interests I'd say Madrid as well, simply because I can even go there by car if I want to and not take that long. So yeah, Madrid because it's not that far away and I'd be able to attend the Olympics if I want
On organization merits I don't really know!

I believe Madrid and Spain will be better off in 2020, and :es: is a strong country in the most important sports nowadays. :tr: also has good squads at several sports and they have their chances. Don't get me wrong but I somehow dislike :jp: and they suck at almost every sport except for some martial arts and baseball/softball. And it's dangerous because of earthquakes and tsunamis.
So being Spanish I'll keep my fingers crossed for Madrid. If it gets eliminated in first round, I'll support Istanbul.
I'd be VERY disappointed if Tokyo wins the Olympics

Si yo fuera tú, quitaría Córdoba y Valladolid y añadiría Málaga y Bilbao ;)

Yeah, I forgot Málaga, but Bilbao is not co-host city and Córdoba and Valladolid are.

Madrid would host everything, except:
- Sailing (in Valencia)
- Football (Barcelona, Zaragoza, Sevilla, Córdoba, Valladolid and Málaga)

I forgot it. I was thinking about the most important football stadiums. But the Football finale would be at Santiago Bernabéu I'd say. And the 3rd place game would be hosted at Vicente Calderón stadium.

So far, Tokyo's presentation has been much better than Istanbul's.

Istanbul kept talking about union of cultures and Olympics between Europe and Asia. That was nothing new, we already knew that. It was also somewhat cold. When the athletes were talking they were decent enough, but the politicians.... Saying their games would be the cheapest ones is just not true and everybody knows that. Also, negative allusions they made about the other two cities doesn't work in their favour.

Tokyo's been more emotive (despite it's almost impossible to understand their accent) and I liked they talked about Fukushima since the beginning. That shows transparency, unlike Istanbul that didn't even answer the questions properly and they look as if they are hiding things.

It looks Tokyo is in the lead, but everything is so close and I think most Madrid's and Istanbul's supporters would vote for the other in case one of these cities falls in the first round. So Tokyo has a tough voting although they are the faves.
