For the first semifinal, my favourite is Estonia, but since I'm sure Estonia is safe, I'd might vote for Albania. Elhaida MUST be in the final and she will probably need my vote more than Elina & Stig.

+ A little bit of gratitude after they have given us a lot of points in the past

That is something I will decide after watching the show. I have seen only rehearsals of Finland, Belgium and Spain...no more, because I don't want to spoil the fun, knowing everything in advance is kind of boring for me. We all know that ESC is not a mere song contest, so I can't base my votes only on the song. I liked Estonia in 2012 and he destroyed it live with those cheesy screams ... I was so mad and ofc i did not vote for it. So, yeah I better wait for the real thing tomorrow and Saturday.

Checking the semifinal I've realised that I only care about five entries:

- Estonia, Belgium and Russia -> They will easily qualify.

- Albania and Serbia -> I'm afraid about them, so I'll support both entries.

BTW Too bad we can't send negative votes (like in BB). Otherwise I'd collapse Armenian lines tomorrow

If I could vote I'd do it for Finland, Latvia and Belgium. Potentially Ireland too because they would really need it. ^^

hahahahah I knew it...ethnic elements and A-lister.. ahahahaha :p :D

It's pretty much the only good ESC song this year... the rest is pretty meh... but as long as the juries are onboard, it'll continue go further down from here.

Hmm I think you went too far!! There are many great entries..not like earlier but there are still some pearls..f.e. I'm watching Greek rehearsal right now and I'm impressed she brought the tear to my eye with that energetic performance of that fantastic composed ballad, that was everything and combination with that vocal "full of sand" gave me goosebumps.. xfaint :) what a quality composition..

Well... I rest my case really... I will never watch ESC as an Idol/Voice talent show... for me this and will always be a competition of the best song for Europe and a celebration of Europe in music... sadly it's not any more. Anyways that's a complete different discussion.

Let's just say that I will probably not watch next year if nothing drastic will change it for the better... there's simply no point any more. All the fun and spirit has been sucked out of it.

A-lister why you describe a fun only with jumping on the stage all around without a point and purpouse and making mess, girls dancing half naked and so on..

The fun is also what Greek entry brings to me this year fr example, that energy, emotion, tear to my eye..then Belgium entry, smth innovative, new alternative for ESC a breathe of fresh air..I'm filled with positive vibes while they perform (Switzerland 2015 for example)..that is also FUN A-lister! :) :)

The truth is that I miss more nonenglish entries, that is a fact..but quality is here..I think it improved qalityvise :)

BTW I love Israel too, that is a quality fast entry, composition is great, very diverse and complicated, vocal is brilliant too, and choreography is AMAZING! xlove xheat

I am not sure what's fun in a cliché ballad or a guy singing a Lorde demo?

Well, let's just agree to disagree about the quality because I think it's very meh, unoriginal and quite frankly just boring this year...

Atleast we seem to agree on Israel but seeing where ESC is heading and I don't have any hopes any longer for anything that isn't strictly boring, middle-of the road and totally western in English.

Spain has some fake ethno elements too this year, why you don't like it? :p

It's ok... it's in my top. 10... but a little too faux dramatic for my liking though

There are only three songs this year using some sort of ethno elements... with the juries hate for it next year we will have zero.

Sorry but I hate your entry this year ....

I also dislike the overrated Italian entry...

Iceland is meh but has some sort of 90's UK-Pop ballad quality to it that I sort of find a bit flattering... but not more than that.

I really dislike these 3, the UK as well, but I love vocal of Bojana Stamenov. :) you have to agree it's impressive.. :)
