Well, honestly, two days still to wait are bit much to wait. I hope I soon become mod of spin-offs and I will work to regulate all aspects of the game (and one will be to regulate all rules and deadline on hosting to not complicate with this procedure so much).
For now, to not be unfair if rev wants to host, I will just open region reservation thread, that people who wants applicate, just reserve their regions so that can think about song. This is not going to be song submission, but only region reservation.

If then rev wants to host it, she will just start to receive songs when she is back.

Are we not allowing multiple people per region then? I doubt it will be a problem though, but it could be unfair if we do have two people from the same region! Good plan though in re hosting. Don't want to deny anyone their chance!

Well I guess the 2nd person will just have to go for something smaller in inside that region from where they're from. Like if someone took Lincolnshire, then I'd have to go and take North East Lincolnshire.

Fair point! It's not as if we have to keep the region for multiple entries!

I agree with this! But to not complicate later with voting, maybe we can allow some cities to be represent. Simply, we wait and see if there is need for this. And if there is need, we allow of course.

Initially the idea of the suggestion was named "Home town spin-off" as some of you might remember but then people complained that there are no famous artists born or did grow up in their city and some of the users simply live in a small town. That's why I created the suggestion of "Home region spin-off" so that everybody should be able to find some good artists and the aspect of "representing your home music scene" is still fulfilled.
However, considering the initial idea I would be fine with people chosing their city and I don't see any objection against it since chosing a city obviously restricts your options and doesnt enlarge.

Amazing! I just was about to open region reservation thread, but you can do it now and immediately start with song collection!

To define "home region"? This time, this idea was suggested by [MENTION=14007]lavieenrose[/MENTION] (who has pretty "liberal" opinion toward home region from what I could understand so far ), while on another hand [MENTION=11993]whiteshoes[/MENTION] explains how originally idea was called and what is principal core of the idea then. As for me, I will accept whatever decision is. I reserved my region but I planned to send artist from city in which I live...that came as natural choice to me...
