My mum watched the semis with me. During the 1st semi, she liked :ee: and, to a lesser extent, she enjoyed :rs:, mostly due to Bojana's voice.

As for the 2nd semi, she liked :ie: and :pt: very much. Of course she was disappointed by this evening's results. :(

She didn't tell me who could win according to her, but she's looking forward to getting to hear :es:

LOL

My mother liked Cyprus' :cy: entry. And ... I kind of like it as well now, surprisingly.

my mom:
Semi 1: :ee: :hu: :ro:
Semi 2: :ie: :cy:
she was also rolling eyes at pretty much all the the "screamy"/"theatrical" acts, including Russia, Latvia and Azerbaijan

and my sister is completely obsessed with Loïc, it's not healthy anymore

Yesterday she liked Ireland, San Marino, Montenegro, Czech Republic and loved Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. She hated Latvia with a passion :? :(

My mum was team Sweden all the way, but she also liked Belgium and Estonia. Usually we're very close when it comes to ESC, and this year was no exception.

My mum's fave was Israel by a mile. She'd have been delighted to see them top 10 but sadly she missed the final as she's on holiday Menorca. :p

My mum loved :ru: the best and she think they should have won. She enjoyed a lot of songs too, like :cy:, our :pl:, :it:. She didn't like :lv: and :sl:. She didn't like the perfrmance and lyrics of :rs:, but she loved her vocals.

Report on the final from my maddeningly inconsistent in their positions on the entries parents: they loved Georgia, Norway, Serbia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Israel (especially my dad, which surprised me), and Sweden, the last of which they called the most professional and smooth of the performances. They rather disliked Italy, Belgium, and Montenegro; my mom hated, hated, hated Russia, while my dad hated the song but thought she had a nice voice. Latvia was described as "just okay;" I can understand hating it more than seeing it as "just okay," but to each their own. My dad referred to Guy as "Australia Mars," which sounds like it should be the name of a Rupaul's Drag Race contestant who tells me that she isn't there to make friends.
