SHOW TROPHY EVENTS
press conference no. 3
Here we are in the sunny Mare Incatato, drinking our
pastýs, walking down the historic streets and trying to pronounce that long word that is apparently this editions slogan. But where should we go to party? And where's the opening ceremony?
SHUU [ʂu:] show
Some 12 editions ago, while we were hosting Congratulations 6, you were introduced to the Griffins - a Griffin family with Griffin problems and big talent for singing witty songs. This time fan favourites - Stewie and Brian will teach us what could we see on the TV. Is the
WLSC on the list? You have to wait for the live show. Second part of the opening act will be the winning entry -Dragostea Din Tei, of course. We will
numa numa through the flag parade in no time!
During the votes-counting part we will have a two part interval act. Firstly, we will be introduced with the long history of the Griffin Empire at the Waiting List (song contest). After that, Griffin National Ensemble and their dances from all over Natia will prepare us for the votes reveal.
TRHÖFEI [tʁofej] trophy
Just like at the Eurovision Song Contest, the winner of the Waiting List Song Contest will take home the iconic glass microphone. This trophy is a custom design, especially created for Eurovision, and now we're borrowing it. The unique hand-made piece of art in the shape of a classic microphone is made of solid transparent glass with sand-blasted and painted detailing. Trophy designer is Kjell Engman (1946) of Kosta Boda who has worked as a glass artist for thirty years. Recently, he has focused on art glass and his creations can be found in e
bitions around the world.
