Since this is a special edition (50th and my hosting) I have chosen a special song.
Also because the theme I have chosen is about our roots, this time Vylkuzeme is sending Latvian song (for the first time in WLSC).
It is performed by Latvian exile ensemble "Čikāgas Piecīši" from Chicago, USA. Initially, listening their songs was illegal during the Soviet occupation (while we listened anyway) before they were allowed to come to Latvia with concerts during the late 80's.
Many of their songs I associate with my childhood time.This is not one of their most popular songs, but one of my favorite. I translated the lyrics and added here.

The interesting fact is that i discovered this song some days ago before u sent it!

I was looking for a song of a greek band, called "nightfall" and Xandria's song was the first result that i got !

By seeing it, i thought "i should definitely listen to this stuff" !!!

I know, I saw the extra information when I watched the video. but it could happen I found this song a bit earlier, since I'm always on the hunt...
