As much as I love 'Better The Devil You Know' (Sonia '93),and she did very well with it - I'll always wish that the UK viewers had sent her 2nd or 3rd placed songs ('Our World' or 'So Much Of your Love').

The disturbing thing about UK in the Noughties is that we often sent the best song in our national finals (at least in my opinion). The only time that I was devastated by our failure to pick a certain song was when we passed on The Revelations in favour of Andy Abraham in 2008. I love the song and the singers have great charisma, I think.

Actually I thought the U.K. made a major mistake when picking Scooch over Cyndi in 2007. "I'll leave my heart" was a great song with great vocals. It certainly would have done a lot better than "Flying the flag"

That would be the other exception, although I'm not as huge a fan of Cyndi as everyone else seems to be. Daz Sampson, James Fox, Javine and Jemini were all deserved victors.

2010 - I was happy with the result and had supported Josh from even before the singers were announced.
2009 - Also happy despite supporting Mark up until the Final. Jade sang 'It's My Time' better then him imo.
2008 - Veto Andy Abraham and replace him with any of the others - they were all better!! But I would have chosen Michelle Gayle.
2007 - The result I was most happy with ever .
2006 - Veto Daz Sampson and replace him with Anthony Costa.
2005 - Veto Javine and replace her with Katie Price (I voted for her more than anyone else in a national final!)
2004 - Veto James Fox and replace him with Hyrise.
2003 - Happy with the result despite the eventual nil points!
