None of the Ukrainian entrys of the past decade should have qualified. Last time they sent a good song was Ruslanas wild dance.

French language is overused at the Eurovision, there is absolutely no need for the presenters to speak it and French spokespeople should use English as well so everybody can understand what they're saying.

oh, and :gr: 2002 is a banger
Yes, either that or everyone should deliver their points in their native tounge and we'll have a complete clusterf#ck of confusion.

Sorry but on that point I do genuinely believe that the language rule led to better song quality, at least to my taste. I'm not saying they should bring it back, and they won't, but if your argument is that it was unfair then Eurovision will always be accused of being unfair to some countries. :(

I don't believe this is unpopular at all.

Lordi s victory was mostly due to the fact that Rockfans all over the world watched Eurovision for a change to vote for a Rock Somg, which imo was just of poor quality

i still remember the on of the presenters being shocked that they won ...

I think I have disagreed with every single post you have made, which to be fair does make them unpopular. Atleast to me.

My heart is with the people of ukraine but the song is really not good imo. I liked alina pash but not kalush

Same, I was so happy when Alina Pasch won because it was the first Ukrainian entry I had liked in years. Then she got kicked out because she performed at a wedding in Russia two years ago and they sent Kalush instead and I went back to disliking the Ukrainian entry and everything was back to normal...

Also, if it's true that Kalush was the ones to repport Alina then I dislike them even more.

I think that it makes sense that the hosts host in english and french, as most people speak these two languages, at least one of them. It is also a eurovision tradition. I do think that it should also be hosted in the language ofthe hosting nation, just like it was before

The winners of ESC 1956 and 1969 shouldn't count as wins.

In 1956 You could vote for your own country and Switzerland had twice as many votes as anyone else (because they were hosting and had to replace the jurors from Luxembourg who descided to stay at home and not participate) and surprise! They won! The voting was also concealed so no one knows how anyone voted (although we can pretty much figure it out). Shouldn't count as a win.

In 1969 there was a four way tie. If there´s a four way tie and no tie breaker there's clearly no winner. Shouldn't count as a win.
