Has any heteronormative act ever displayed such a level of pornography? Compared to this, Poland 2014 gave an agricultural lesson. This is just crude.
THANK YOU!I thought I was the only one who thought this but I go and read the comments and... even to another person the bathroom where Olly sings looks like the one from SAW
"GAME OVER!" (quote John Kramer)![]()
If only Andrew from Cyprus last year was the singer.![]()
Would you like a potato with that bitterness??I really don't think Liverpool would host twice in a row.
Yep. Exchange Olly for a female singer and I bet the outrage from some wouldn't be anywhere near as strong. Even less so if them dancers were then also female.I find it funny (and also quite saddening) that in a year which we have bejazzled nipple pasties and a guy showing his entire hairy bare buttocks, it's men seductively dancing together in red boxing shorts that creates this terror, disgust and upset in people. The homophobia (internalised in some cases) is still so strong. I just hope those complaining around the net about this do their best Helen Lovejoy impersonation every time we have something remotely sexy at the contest. I doubt it though.
Exactly. Nuff said, I don't let such things occupy space in my brain as I just accept now that in this world, haters gonna hate and it's just their insecurities causing all the vitriol.Yep. I agree - I really like the staging concept and the color visuals, but this "being provocative with showing these scenes" kind of thing is a bit childish in my eyes. They could have left that out. The bitter truth is that sex sells ... but a bit less would have made this performance a really great one. (And I don't even like the song)I'm surprised that the classic Eurofans are totally prostaging. First of all, is this still really needed in 2024 at Eurovision from a gay perspective? I'm not sure. Second, yes I do think that this is also a family show or let's say a show also for casual viewers not just for the classic fan bubble. Personally I'm therefore not to keen ont seing
but or
softporn at Eurovision. I would also say the same for a straight or lesbian couple being overly sexual on stage. I'd be totally fine with the geneal
staging concept with that group of men, with the outfits, with the shower scenery. But in my opinion it's just too much with the sexual performance.
Anyway, for me therehearsal clip also is way to chaotic with all those fast changing camera angles and camera shots. That's my biggest point of criticism. A little bit less would have also been fine.
