Look at it this way. If the page was telling the truth then the BBC would have had Twitter shut it down and/or take legal action against the person who set it up for breaking NDAs.

The page isn't saying "Oh its a threesome and you know who they are" which is generic enough to cover their arse, they are outright saying that its Frock Destroyers and it will be revealed on the 26th, which would be just too close to home if it were true.

I mean anyone can post a fake Eurovision leak on twitter, trust me, I've done it!

It was basically just 2021 artists celebrating the countdown + Suzy from Portugal and BBC's RuPaul Drag Race UK!!! Michelle Visage.

Strange, at least there would have been some hype around it. It wouldn't have hurt to see the announcement embedded in such a high profile show.

True, that is what we were all thinking earlier (or panicking depending on your point of view). When it was announced that there would be a Eurovision themed episode there was speculation that something might get announced, and a tweet on the official Twitter page said that there would be some news "Soon" which got a lot of people thinking (or panicking) that it would be announced tonight and it would be an act from the show doing it. Or failing that the act who would be doing it would be performing "as live" in some capacity.

I get a feeling that its going to be like last year and that on an up coming Saturday they'll announce a special Eurovision announcement on the following Sunday before some show that is on. Then during that announcement they'll announce that the reveal will be on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2 some time that week.

And in all likelihood we'll find it leaked on some site the night before like we did last year.

Granted if the time frame is anything like it was last year we'll be getting the """Leaked""" song appearing online soon. Most likely next week with the real reveal coming the week after.

I could have told you years ago. They often have a scare that they may have actually sent a song that could do well like Jade, Blue, Lucie, Molly... But the sigh with relief on Eurovision night and realise they won't have to host makes them feel better

No, I don't think I would be :lol:

It would certainly be a nice change of pace compared to the past few entries.

I was following this thread nervously while at work, so I'm feeling kind of relieved.

Has anyone seen what Wiwibloggs are reporting? They say that fans have identified "another new song written by James Newman that has recently been listed in the repository of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers). James’ Eurovision 2020 entry “My Last Breath” was found in a similar fashion by fans before the official release last year."

"This track is called “Afraid Of Nothing” and is again published by BMG, the music company that partnered with the BBC for Eurovision 2020. Along with James, the song is co-written by Martin Brammer and Jordan Riley."
