The great Tallia Storm once said, "Don't flood my feed." I must take a slightly different tack: don't flood my feed...UNLESS you flood my feed with Tallia Storm. In that case, flood away.

To once again quote the great Tallia Storm, "don't show me kites (visual aid below)."

I dont think mentioning Brexit and boasting about it will go down well in Europe.

We probably end up with Nil Points lol

BMG do have a superb roster of artists for them to choose from.

Question is whether the record company would have control over staging etc.

Well actually I think the BBC has really picked up on staging in the past few years, Lucie was great. They really worked on that mirror thing. Surie was good and Michaels was good also, none of them have except Lucie were particularly 'Wow' but they weren't mediocre to just pure bad as is usually typical with BBC stagings in years gone by. I do imagine if they're involved though it would be through the whole process as it is one of their songs and artist going forward. They'd be there to support him/her/them.

I've seen on twitter some rumours it could be Rina Sawayama, Who is a Japanese-British singer, born in Japan grew up and lives in London. Literally first time I heard of her and I wasn't going to post about it because it probably is, well a rumour and nothing more, but then I listened to a song of hers and I had to post because it sounds so very Hatari, especially the end where she turns satanic. I thought some of you would like it.

Oh my gosh! What a random very me pleasing rumour. I adoreee Rina's song Cyber Stockholm Syndrome. Rina for UK sounds too good to be true though. I highly doubt we'll be opting for an artist like this.

I mean, it would be fantastic if she did but, as is the case with a lot of rumours and the fantastic suggestions made in this thread I fear it won't be, if its a known name it will be either a safe one or one we've not heard of in a long time.

I suppose if we were to entertain the rumour the first video posted of her came out about a month ago which suggests more new material coming out from her soon (I.E. An album). Eurovision could be good opportunity to help promote her music to a wider audience even if she doesn't win it. What is more having a back catalogue and possibly new material on the way means the possibility of doing a promotional tour in the lead up to the event which will help to get her, her music and the song she ends up singing out there more easily than with previous entries where seemingly the only promotion was done at Eurovision events and press events (which makes sense as many of them had never released a single before let alone cut an album).

What is more picking an artist like Sawayama would be a great statement of intent by BGM saying that they are willing to be bold in their choices; that they are taking it seriously and not just go with ex-X Factor contestant or 90's girl/boy band member.

I mean, even though I'd never heard of her or her music before she is really fantastic and I'll likely listen to more of it the future.

But as with many suggestions and rumours I fear that it might be too good to be true. But, we'll see, its only a matter of weeks before we get the reveal that our act is Cleopatra coming at ya!

He would be a very out of character choice for the BBC.

He's flavour of the minute, massive following online and is on the up with his music career. Plus, he always seems up to try anything. It doesn't sound as far-fetched as it may seem in my mind.

I've been a big fan of his work for a while now so it'd be interesting if it happened!

Fleur East is signed up to BMG.

and, she tweeted yesterday that her album would be delayed until March and she said she hasnt ruled out doing Eurovision in the Future.

So could it be her?
