According to the BBC eurovision page, They'll perform "I Can" in Azerbaijan ;) so you'll be the first country other than the UK to hear it :p

true and they will sing in one of the most expensive clubs in Baku, where most people cannot get. :(

At the end of the day, they are going around countries making themselves and their faces/charm/voices well known. Alot of songs are not being shown until March so it could be worse. I'm sure the song will be a great one. They have great voices and their performance at the Maltese final was a good one. Not pitch perfect but hey, they haven't performed together for years and they have much better voices than many previous winners of the ESC. FACT. But its true, voices are not everything!

Bumping your post in that case ;)

But I still think it's not really the most productive way to promote the U.K...

Well promoting old songs is much better than no promotion :p presenting a song that isn't complete may be a bad move as well in case it could suck xD Plus yeah the name is getting round too..

Odd has hell that friends are talking about blue/eurovision/jedward as well :p it's a weird thing so i think the UK will be getting pretty high viewing figures this year (just what the BBC want)

I also doubt that Blue will come out with a bad entry. Maybe it won't be "spectacular" but I am sure it will be good. I have the highest expectations from them, from the people who were internally selected, and we are still waiting to hear the song.

I have a feeling they will be my #1 of the year :D Well, 1 one of my votes in the final will surely go for Blue, as I was a fan of them as well :D

Too bad they are not saying anything about visiting Serbia though :(

I got my doubts. During the last years the BBC continously showed a strange bad taste and I doubt it will be different this year. You can listen to so many good songs from UK throughout all Europe and it is really strange, that the are not able to nominate a good song.

I just listend to Skinny Genes from Eliza Doolittle. With a song like this, the would win for sure. Or why not Adelle with a song like rowling between.

Rusch.....Adele has a huge career in front of her and Eliza is pretty good. They wouldnt send the to Eurovision just yet. Blue havent been together for years so its time for them to regroup and bring a bit of energy to Eurovision and for our country!

I believe Eliza has said nothing but bad things about Eurovision as well (her mum was our representative in 1994)

According to the BBC site:
1) The song is finished
2) They're also going to be doing something very hush-hush for Comic Relief, too... more news on that next week!

I'm hoping for a small clip during comic relief :p you never know

I think this is exactly the great mistake: Instead of bringing something new or something fresh, they bring up something old fashioned by old fashioned artists or producers or writer. But to win the conest you must show ideas and new things. I got many doubts, that blue will surprise me, but lets see.

By the way: Did you know, that Lenas first song from last years casting show was "my same" from Adele? She gave that song a push into the charts.

TBH Ive never liked Lena. At least Blue can sing!! I cant wait to hear the song. No matter what it sounds like it will be good. Just depends on whether it is 'eurovision' or not!!

The way things have gone so far, London 2012 looks like a huge possibility.
