I love that they can namecheck Sakis Rouvas.

I've got more used to the idea of Blue now. You have to respect their courage for stepping up to the plate when no one else will. I hope they do well.

As has been said, it would be a disaster for UK hopes of getting more established acts if they don't score well. However, I think there is a similar danger if they win. Being a boyband, especially one with a series of failed solo careers behind them, Blue have very little musical credibility in this country. That means, if Blue win, any subsequent big act couldn't be satisfied with top 5. They have to be at least as good as Blue. Second place would be ideal for UK. It shows we can compete, Blue get some kudos and it leaves us with something still to aim for.

I agree, their commitment is admirable but waiting this long seems a little bit strange to me. They are missing the whole NF season where they could introduce the song to the audiences......well the song better be good, there is so much pressure on Blue I feel kinda bad for them.

Wow, I expected the song to be known earlier, but agree, I really hope it will be a good one.

I heard that Blue will perform on the :rs: NF as well, don't know if it's true. If it is.....I'll get to see Blue live (maybe even meet them ) :D So epic :D

The article says they're travelling to Greece, Italy, Spain etc. and even to Eastern Europe so they may still be performing on NFs. That'd mean just performing old songs I guess buti t's still promotion :p Maybe they could perform at the MF final? That's after March 11th right? xD

Yeah but singing different songs seems a little pointless to me. But I am not saying it's a terrible idea, I"m just sceptical.
BTW, I watched now several of their interviews and I really like these guys as individuals and I so wanna root for them now...

I think the song will be a let down somehow, especially since you have to wait for so long to hear it. However, they have some good voices, I do remember "All Rise" :D

oh Lee, U2 are Irish not British

Haha and definitely not English, that's the one thing that grates on me in this interview is that he keeps saying England - typical signs of someone who doesn't know about ESC xD Seems like Duncan was getting annoyed too cause he kept saying UK after he spoke

One thing that should be pointed out is that Lee Ryan has a reputation for not being very bright. It's entirely possible that he's been told repeatedly that it's UK. He might have watched Eurovision for years and not have picked up on which country we are.
