Bland song and the singer doesn't seem to have much charisma... I predict this will directly go to the bottom. 0 points.

Terrible. Even by PW standards :|

I hope we'll be Bottom 5

First a few seconds of the song made me excited. I thought i would listen a great song but later... disappoinment! I don't know if it will grow on me but it didn't impress me.

This is by far the worst song selected to Eurovision this year.
After last year's quest appearances, and a very good placement, this is the lowest in the hands of silly.
Shame for Britain.

hmmmmm

the song starts really great. very good intro and very good verses. but the chorus is going nowhere.

but do not forget: this is a stock/waterman song, and you don't have to like the stuff, but the songs are allways very well produced.

give them some time. it is clear, that we heard a demoversion yesterday.

josh is a very good singer, but he has to improve the moves. and let the stupid dancers in london ;-)
great backing vocals and josh is enough

look at last year, there was a unbelievable different between the NF and ESC performance.
a lot of people wrote jade off after the NF, but then.... remember moscow ;-)

After the 2009 NF finished I could see that Jade had promise and could actually make a change to our usual results.

After this NF I have given up on even being patriotic this year :|

I think the problem is that last year we had a weekly NF that lasted a longer time than usual, so maybe ALW could see potential in some contestants and write the song in a way that'd best show off their ability. And I believe he had longer to write it too.

This year Pete wrote the song only a few days ago so the contestants had one or two days to learn the song. As you can see when Esma forgot the lyrics in her performance. A longer NF allows for a longer time to write and make a better song too.

Hopefully we'll be last, and hopefully this'll make the BBC realise that more effort = better song = more likely to get a better result.

I believe someone said this was just a demo version? I sure hope so, because this one was a bit of a let down.
The begining showed promise, but it really went no where. I do wish they change or skip the dancers though for the final.
If this had been in the semi's I doubt it would have qualified.

3 points for now.

UK viewing figures, BIG disappointing night for ESC, i guess the country didn't really care? Could be due to the very confusing and secretive selection process.

Oh dear. What an anti-climax. They need to get straight back into the studio on Monday and work to improve the song - especially the chorus. Give it a bit of edge. Make it less predictable, less obvious where it's heading. Anything to steer it away from terminal blandness. Above all - find from somewhere, anywhere, a decent bloomin' HOOK! There IS time to put it right. They must know it falls short. But will they act?

mike stock said last night it was difficult to produce a song not knowing who was going to sing it and he said 'the work starts here'

they will change the song for sure!!!

Well then why did they not write a song specifically for each finalist. Also ALW didn't moan about having to write a song that could be sung by any of the finalists.

Very fair point, Olli. MS and PW have surely got enough experience to pinpoint the problems and put them right. Haven't they?
