solid number but nothing special.

Moisei sounds really weak at times.
It sounds very amateurish - he´s got piercing eyes, though and the violine part was remotely interesting... 4-5/10

'Trust me, bring a violin' is a good advice for ESC honnestly.
Maybe not enough here, his voice is a bit average and not always perfect.

Moisei - definitely out with such vocals, though I'm wondering if it was the right decision to submit a song to ESC when you have never used your vocals in your songs before.

Usually, I´m not that "type of person" but I think he just got included because there was an interesting backgound story and him being a solider and opening Vidbir (+ letting Topolia give his comments and he´s been fighting for Ukraine as well) sealed the deal.

Surely, there must have been better songs and vocalists as part of the shortlist

arty music? - very nice stage colors but the song is not really my cup of tea.

If they wanted to milk that story he would wore military clothes, like he always does.

They didn´t "milk" it, In my opinion - but they "used" his entry to set the tone - I somehow perceive it more as an "interlude" to the "other artists" but they somehow wanted to build a bridge from the on-going battle to the show.
Oy Sound System and Moisei´s postcards have been distinctively and fundamentally different as well.

2. OY Sound System - «Ой, тужу»

More in a style I can see Ukraine. It is a good mix between all they previously sent.
It is weird enough to works well on some people, and be hated by other.

Yulya will LOVE this song.

I was really impressed by her absolutely gorgeous and perfect vocals!

The song serves a great vibe.. but it´s all about the atmosphere.
It´s too weird and too samey to be competitive.

It could have been huge, though, but it needed more instruments/melody.

6/10 from me for now (2 for the "song", 10 for the (vocal) performance)

This song definitely comes off better live, they managed to create a magical atmosphere. The song didn't speak to me in the audio version but I really enjoyed the performance.

Demchuk´s voice is really beautiful and even touching at times but oh boy, that song is really dated and doesn´t go anywhere.

UK in the ukraine - the song,which sounds most like pop from the west in this competion.
i have heard stuff like that over thousends times...
