And I forgot to mention : Go_A are definitely my favorite ESC artists, last year I was already in love with Solovey (which stays my favorite), and their other songs got me hooked. I loo forward to what they'll bring in the future because their music is definitely something I dig for.

Solovey was perfect for me to getting used to the white chants and the bands style anyway and so Shum sold me from the very beginning. Well deserved 5th place and kinda forseeable the way they got there with the bigger televoting support

I hate our jury's points to Russia, 3 jurors gave her the last place.
I agree with the other 2 jurors tho - she's 12th-15th in my ranking.

But I can see why ILLARIA did that, she's a folk performer who always evaluates folky songs especially precise (being authentic singing teacher).
imo, Alyona Alyona did that because Manizha looks and even sounds a lil' bit like Alyona's bestie Alina Pash:

Super happy that our jury AND televoters gave points to Belgium. No points to Moldova Kirkorov 24 pts to Italy The jury gave 1 pt to Norway even despite the scandal on their preview show. And we received 3 points from their jury too

I'm most disgusted by the slavic juries. SLAVIC JURIES DID NOT GIVE GO_A A SINGLE POINT. That's some coward mentality. Ashamed of their own culture and heritage.

Jurors of need to be publicly shamed.

I understand why Russia didn't give any points to Ukraine because of the war, but why others?

Latvia has had a very balanced voting for Ukraine: 6 points from the public, 7 from the juries.

Just 97 points is a slaughter for such song IMO. They go to songs like like the fly goes to the sh!t, I mean I liked too but this love from the juries? Come on.
It was a shock that they placed in #4 because most of the times rock songs suffer so much from the juries.

Maybe Kirkorov was working his magic with these juries too? (but in the opposite way), he is notoriously anti-Ukrainian, I think it would give him equal satisfaction to see Ukraine fail as with his own bad entries succeeding

Also, Serbia, Bulgaria and to some extent Macedonia are pro-Russia (and not particularly Ukrainian friendly)

Oh, yes, absolutely, I come to indict the juries for this entry coming 9th with them to be a pleasant surprise. Want to make clear that I limit the scope of what I'm saying to "in the (imperfect) world as it is, I would've thought 9th w/juries would be enough for a top 3 spot or even a win."

It's not impossible, but almost to get top. 3, let alone winning, when you "only" rank in the bottom 10 with the juries, I mean with a landslide televoting but that wouldn't have happened with Måneskin's entry in the game. The ones to blame for Ukraine missing the top. 3 are juries and juries alone imho.

Lots of press in the airport. She said there was a fan in a green fur coat in the audience She also met Gjon's mom, he was Katya's personal fave together with Iceland, Lithuania, Finland & Italy.
Her town had a viewing party at the central square.

I've only been watching Eurovision since 2018, but I've never seen a Eurovision song get as much praise as this one.

1. On Italian Twitter, it was by far the most talked about performance after the first semi-final AND the second most talked about song after the second semi-final
2. A lot of people on Italian reddit praised it as the best song on the year on the Eurovision victory thread, with someone claiming that they will listen to more of their music. Keep in mind that most people on that subreddit have very snubbish taste in music.
3. Our commentator called the song "the true revelation of the year" during the second semi-final pre-show. I didn' watch with commentary on so I don't know if the song was praised at other points.
4. My sister only watched the final and thought it deserved the win, even over Italy. My mom said that, after Måneskin, they deserved to win the most.

I'm just surprised it's not trending on Youtube. I'm guessing that Eurovision is still not popular enough to create trending videos outside of our own entries, but maybe this will change once we actually host it!
