I think Iceland deserved to be 4th. His last year's song was my #1.Voted 12x.
Surprised how many eastern Countries gave 0 Points.
I wish they would have ended up at least above.

Ukraine finished 1,2,3,4,6,7. 5th was missing. Now everything's perfect. Why is everyone complaining tho?

I think people complain about the juries blocking Ukraine from a well deserved top. 3
I was worried though that the juries would treat you even worse, so a top. 10 with them was I guess "decent" for being them but still...

In their own way, I actually think it's the *televoters* who let Ukraine down. If pre-show you would've told me that Ukraine came 9th with the juries, I would've guessed that that would've put them in dangerous winning contention, but they didn't get the surprisingly good televote number to match their surprisingly good jury number - just a regular-good televote number.
Granted, I don't think they were quite as sharp tonight as on Tuesday, so maybe if they had been, we would've had a verrrrry different post-show conversation...

Well, if we go by the odds as some sort of indication, they were bound to end up #2 with the televoters in the final (which is still a great position to be in), even with more points, the discrepancy with the juries would still be big (maybe they could have managed a top. 3, but ultimately it's still the juries that blocked that chance because in the end of the day they were top. 3 with the televoters so).

Yeah, I was happy seeing that, a bit surprised though I must say, but Ukraine got some pretty good press here in Sweden at least so.

Oh, yes, absolutely, I come to indict the juries for this entry coming 9th with them to be a pleasant surprise. Want to make clear that I limit the scope of what I'm saying to "in the (imperfect) world as it is, I would've thought 9th w/juries would be enough for a top 3 spot or even a win."

I agree. I was kinda expecting the televote for Shum that Italy got. The buzz following the semi performance was real. It fell short of that. Still amazing, but even without the juries, not enough to win. Which is almost better that it didn't win the televote because with that jury result, would be a tough loss to swallow.
Top 5 is an incredible result and I'm super happy for Go_A. They got so many new fans, gave us one of the most iconic performances, and gave us a great result.

I'm most disgusted by the slavic juries. SLAVIC JURIES DID NOT GIVE GO_A A SINGLE POINT. That's some coward mentality. Ashamed of their own culture and heritage.

That surprised me the most - I expected the jury support would come mostly from these countries, not from the western ones.
Baffling. In our jury Ukraine finished 11th, very disappointing.

I believed for a second they could win, so I'm a little disappointed they "only" ended up 5th. But it's a wonderful result and I'm glad Europe rewarded them for this one hell of a song. What baffles me the most is that France gave 12 to Ukraine, which for once makes me proud of my fellow countrymen
