Not at all. That is what Sasha's voice simply sounds like. (Similar to how Jana Burcheska, Blanche, Can Bonomo and Nina Kraljic have weird honky singing voices.). Her singing was good enough in the second performance (a few vocal imperfections are fine because that humanizes the performance - makes it better imo) Nobody will force you to like the timbre of her voice, but it was in tune. (as opposed to the first performance which wasn't in tune despite having literally three chords wtf)

This is horrible. I wasn't really a fan of Maruv's song, but the way the Ukrainian broadcaster treated her is absolutely outrageous. They should be disqualified.

It is better for Ukraine to withdraw this year. Next year, they should made it clear from the beginning, that whoever wants to enter Vidbir can't have anything with Russia, and problem solved. This way, it is disrespectful towards artists, and very, very ugly, disgusting behavior in front of whole Europe.

Yikes. What a mess. Whatever happened behind closed doors, the channel just completely lost control of the situation - at least from the PR perspective. At this point, if they can't make it work with Maruv, they need to withdraw.
I hope no other self-respecting act agrees to go now. And whoever does end up going will probably get booed and flop.

My theory: MARUV was never meant to be the rep. UABC put up MARUV as Tayanna's replacement with the idea that she wouldn't win anyway and it backfired massively when she won.
Perhaps KAZKA were The Chosen One.
