She's from Odesa. She won Чорноморські Ігри in 2003 as a teenager and she took part in the 2005 NF.

I see. It's a nice song, she needs to improve her English though. Imho, the best one so far. But I still wait for some big names, wonder what is Zlata up to.

I hope she will take the right decision (participating, obviously). She doesn't necessarily need to win and go to ESC again, she should just use the opportunity of taking part in this NF to further promote new music by her.

I didn't really know where to post this (the 2006 thread is almost non-existing) so I hope it's ok to post it in here (eventhough not related to this year's ESC), and while we're waiting for more news regarding this year's selection. Tina Karol (2006 ESC) starred in a Christmas special on Ukrainian TV and it's fabulous imo:
I'm not so much for comebacks, but in this case I would make an exception. She has really grown to become a proper artist and I wouldn't mind seeing her in ESC again someday.

Judging from his statement he also sees her as the front runner, or at worst a co-front runner (with Max if true). Is that realistic? I've always thought her reputation and image was spotty at best
