I know they are from your country, but srsly, cheering for RB? IOTAP It's like I would cheer for Bayern Munich or, even better, Bayer or VW :?

Tbh I hate the draw, because two of my favourites played against each other, Celtic and Malmö, but at least the swedish one won, and Nicosia had to face Astana, two clubs I have no relations with...

CSKA Moscow 3-1 Sporting CP (4-3 agg)

We were eliminated :( The first goal CSKA scored in the beginning of the second half was scored with the arm. And on the beggining of the 80s minutes, we scored a goal from a corner, but the referee didn't count it because he said the ball during the trajectory in the air crossed the line. At that point the score was 2-1 and if we scored 2-2 we pretty much guaraanted qualification. Adding this to the two penalties that weren't scored for Sporting in the first leg, and to how the referees treated us in the match in Gelsenkirchen against Schalke last year in the group stage, I would say UEFA doesn't like us very much, or we're just unlucky with the referees we get.

Either way though, after we scored the 0-1 or after they tied the 1-1, we had enough time to score a 2nd goal and kill the match. But it seemed like our players were just playing to keep the result. We pretty much dominated in the first half, but in the second half it just wasn't the same. It seems to be a problem with our team this year, we get an advantage of one goal and the players just lay back way too much afterwards.

I do what I did last year...

MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖ!!

Amazing that they have done it again, 2nd time in a row! So important for swedish football! I feel also that with a good draw, a 3rd place in the group is not impossible to do! :D

I am really happy that Malmo won :) Congrats guy. Malmo won Zalsburg this time Celtic :)

Zlatan back at home xheat I guess the crowd will be enthusiastic.. I guess these will be emotional and great moments. xheya

Talking about the CL draw... I just focus on the groups of the :de: clubs

Group B
:nl: PSV
:en: Manchester United
:ru: CSKA
:de: Wolfsburg

I think Wolfsburg is facing hard times considering they are about to sell their best player De Bruyne to Manchester City (probably for 75 million € xcrazy xfacepalm ) and another good player Ivan Perisic to Inter Milano. Wolfsburg will buy new players to replace the leaving players but you can't simply replace De Bruyne, this is a "mission impossible" for Wolfsburg.
Basically PSV and CSKA are beatable and Manchester United still doesnt perform like a worldclass team despite they have a pretty strong squad. But for some reason I think Wolfsburg will only reach the 3rd place behind Manchester and CSKA. PSV will play decent but I fear that they can't handle the missing of Depay.

Group D
:it: Juventus
:en: Manchester City
:es: Sevilla
:de: Borussia M'gladbach

R.I.P. Gladbach. It was a nice time with you
Manchester City will win this group, Juventus is rather a team for the knock-out matches and they use to struggle in the group stage so I see them fighting for the 2nd place against Sevilla. As we know Sevilla loves the Europe League so they will maybe get 3rd place and try to win the EL trophy again. I remember Gladbach being strong against Sevilla in the round of 16 in the last EL season. They basically dominated both matches. However, I dont think they are strong enough to avoid the last place.

Group E
:es: Barcelona
:de: Leverkusen
:it: AS Roma
:by: Bate

I think Leverkusen will get humiliated twice from FC Barcelona but I think they will beat AS Roma just like they beat Lazio in the play-off matches. Consequently they reach the Round of 16 as 2nd place of this group.

Group F
:de: Bayern
:en: Arsenal
:gr: Olympiacos
:hr: Dinamo Zagreb

I wonder why of all German teams always Bayern get the joke group although they could easily succeed also in the difficult groups. Ofc they will reach the first place. Arsenal is just a bottler time, always pretending to be a big team and then failing when it really counts. Olympiacos is just okay in their home ground and Zagreb is probably happy to be even qualified for the CL.

Here's what I hope for Celtic in tomorrow's draw.

Basel
Celtic
Slovan Liberec
Gabala or Qarabag

Worst cast scenario :

Dortmund
Celtic
Monaco
Partizan Belgrade

The draw will be very important with so many great teams they could face. Hopefully we can have a Scottish team in Europe beyond Christmas.

I think Qarabag has low chances, sorry. :p
I don't know how Gabala plays, but their group seems to be much easier.

I remember Qarabaq was quite well when they forced us (Frankfurt) in Europa League 2 years ago, but this group is indeed very, very hard.
But good luck to you :-)

Our Legia and Lech were quite lucky:

Group D
- Napoli
- Club Brugge
- Legia
- Midtjylland

Group I
- FC Basel
- Fiorentina
- Lech
- CF Belenenses

We have chances to go through

UEFA Europa League, Play-Off:

 Rosenborg - Steaua Bucharest :ro: 0 - 1 (3 - 1 agg.)
We left Europe with our heads up!

:nl: AZ Alkmaar - Astra Giurgiu :ro: 2 - 0 (4 - 3 agg.)
I a, very disapointed by Astra as they only had one attempt the entire match.

That was one of the most painful weeks ever in terms of football. :|

:ua: Shakhtar v Rapid 2-2 (1st leg 0-1)
Towards the end of the match, Rapid had two amazing opportunities to score a third goal and go to the CLGS on away goals - but, nope.

Red Bull Salzburg v :by: Dinamo Minsk 2-0 (1st leg 0-2), Dinamo advances after penalty shootouts
Salzburg missed their key players in the first leg and were denied a perfectly valid goal because of a supposed off-side. It was obvious they would go on losing out in the penalties. :/ D. Minsk are no by no means any threat to proper teams and I do hope Rapid will crush them in the ELGS.

:pt: Os Belenenses v Altach 0-0 (1st leg 1-0)
Real shame for Altach. They'll likely never get a chance like this to advance to the ELGS again soon.

By the way, it seems Dortmund and Qäbälä have been drawn into the same group? I'd like to know how Henrikh Mkhitaryan is feeling about that. xpopcorn

Champions League

Group C
:pt: Benfica
:es: Atlético
:tr: Galatasaray
:kz: Astana

Group G
:en: Chelsea
:pt: Porto
:ua: Dynamo Kyiv
:il: Maccabi Tel-Aviv

Benfica's play so far this season has been pretty bad, and if they keep their current form they'll have trouble advancing to the round of 16. The battle will obviously be between Atlético, Benfica and Galatasaray, can't see Astana doing much.
Porto has a great squad and if they play to the best of their ability they can easily qualify.

Europa League

Group F
:fr: Marseille
:pt: Braga
:cz: Slovan Liberec
:nl: Groningen

Group H
:pt: Sporting
:tr: Besiktas
:ru: Lokomotiv Moscow
:al: Skenderbeu

Group I
:ch: Basel
:it: Fiorentina
:pl: Lech
:pt: Belenenses

My favourite team, Sporting, has the goal and the quality to qualify in 1st. I would say Besiktas is the hardest in the group, but Sporting doesn't have a good experience with Russian teams so Lokomotiv might be more troublesome. But hopefully we will change that statistic now, and we will get revenge for the way we were kicked out of the Champions League.
Braga can easily qualify in their group if they play to the best of their abilities. In the last few seasons they haven't been that good in Europe, ever since they reached the final of the Europa League, but they have a chance to turn that around this season.
Belenenses is already happy with their first qualification to the group stage and getting to the round of 32 will be hard. However, if they win both games against Lech they have a chance, if they manage to get some draws or maybe a win from Basel or Fiorentina, specially at home.

To be realistic we don't have chance. However it will be good practices for future. Thank you we need that luck :D
