Appalling, shameful performance by Celtic tonight. They have shamed the whole Country and need a 3-0 victory at Murrayfield.

Legia surprised me. Before match I thought "Oh, probably Celtic will score something and later they will be playing quite defensively, it will be too much for us". On the beginning of the game, it was quite reasonable thinking - Celtic scored early goal in 7th minute. But later surprisingly Legia scored 2 goals, and Ambrose got a red card. In second half we score 2 additional goals and match ended with score 4-1. Of course, we should score a least one goal from two penalty kicks, but still it's quite good result.
Anyway, we just couldn't underestimate the Celtic. Year ago, they also lost 0-2 to Shakhter Karagandy after first match, but in rematch they won 3-0 and qualified for UEFA Champions League group stage.

Wow, the Legia - Celtic result is surprisng
didn't expect Legia to be so strong... now they have good chances for the play-offs albeit Celtic is much better when playing on own ground. This little surprises makes the qualifying rounds so exciting

I wouldn't be surprised. Salzburg was knocked out by a team from Luxembourg not too long ago, so Karabakh stands a good chance for a play-off match. On the other hand their best player got red card after scoring the second goal for Karabakh (first match ended 2:1 for Karabakh), so their chances are not that big.

Well, Salzburg and Champions League isn't compatible for whatever reason... already their 7th attempt to reach the CL with an very expensive squad but they bottle it always
Only in Europa League they tap their full potential. Last year they should have reached the EL quarter final at least since they outplayed Basel but unfortunately they forgot to score :D

BUT if the match proceed normal next week, Salzburg is gonna win clearly because their offensive is insane. A well harmonizing team and on a high tactical level (how they press forward is amazing)
However I would be glad for Karabakh when they manage to keep the advantage and reach the next round because I love big surprises and I love to see new, pretty unknown teams in the Champions League (I'm aware that they still have to go through they play-offs)

The problem being that Celtic aren't playing at their home ground due to the Commonwealth Games, so are playing at Murrayfield, and that means they lose the cauldron atmosphere of Celtic Park. Home advantage isn't what it normally is.

UEFA Champions League, 3rd round:

:kz: Aktobe - Steaua Bucharest :ro: 2 - 2
It's a good result but I am upset tht we couldn't hold on to the lead that we had two times. Now all we need is not to lose in Bucharest or not to draw at more than 2 - 2.

:cy: Omonia - :mk: Metalurg 3:0 (2:0)

It happened what I expected it might happen. Metalurg played pretty bad, while Omonia was great and it could have easily been 6:0! One can hope that Metalurg will win with 1:0 so they will at least try to improve themselves and the stance they created so far. This is the end for Metalurg.

:bg: Ludogorets 0:0 :rs: Partizan

Very good result, and a result that everyone in the club would have signed before the match. A result that also promises a lot for the second leg. We didn't play nicely for the eye, we played on a result, and well, we got it. Now we must beat Ludogorets on our stadium in order to advance to the play-off, and that is ideal for us at this stage.

Ludogorets had only 1 shot on the goal for the entire match so that fact alone speaks enough of how disciplined we were. They had a couple of dangerous situations in front of our goal, but we also had great chances, and 2 100% ones at the start of the match. That is the only thing I am sad about, that we didn't use our chances. If we used only one of those two, it would have been a different match in Razgrad.

Anyway, next week, things will be much different, as I expect Ludogorets to defend themselves now and wait for their chances for counter-attacks. We will be offensive, as we are playing on our stadium, but there is also no need to rush from the start, 90+ minutes is enough to score that one goal that will be enough to knock out the Bulgarian team. I believe in the positive result in the second match. Ludogorets didn't surprise me with anything in the first match, and I don't expect a better play from them in the second one either. This was their maximum at this point.
