2001-2002 was a dark era for Eurovision.

I love 2000 to 2007.
Not mad about that many songs from '08,so voted for that.

When it comes to song quality and results clearly it is 2010. Hosting was not that great either imho. I am also not a fan of 2001.

I agree for 2010. The hosting wasn`t great at all. Norwegians sure have to learn what a good hosting means...
And the songs last year OMG were disasters...

2011 wasn`t great too... the hosting was great, but the songs...uhlala

2007 leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
2011 2006 2003 and 2000 were great because Ireland did well .
But in terms of my favourites, 2010 was good (except for Sweden not qualifying and the criminally underrated Cyprus)

2000-2001-2002. Those were the years when the Eurovision transitionned from the old-fashioned song contest of the Nineties to the commercial mega show of the 2000's, and that transition isn't pretty.

I must say 2002, i'm sorry because i have an infinite tenderness towards Estonia.

But the stage was too small, the presentaters were awful, and the fairytales postcards were a bad idea in my opinion.

And if that wasn't enough the voting let them down completely when one of the most average song won (but best performances i admit one) and let all the good songs fighting for top ten

I voted for 2002 too. I didn't really like the hosts, the songs were OK at best (except for Ira Losco and Sahlene which were fantastic songs), the stage looked too small for a large event. If Estonia were to host again, I'm sure they'd do better

2002 is quite awful : the hosts are bad, the stage is small and ugly and the songs (+ the winning one) were bad (except France)
