It's crazy....we're not losing just 1 spot, but we drop below Armenia, to the 4th spot.

Looks like we've got some FIERCE competition from Austria.

Agreed. I even think Austria can win this. Did you hear the applause for Conchita? It was HUGE.

Yess, I heard it, I saw it......I'm glad that I didn't put a bet on us to win after all; it's too close. We'll see what happens on Saturday....xcrossed

I think there is a big difference between the audience and the European voters. 80% of the audience is probably gay or really supportive. Unfortunately that doesn't count for the European voters.

Armenia, Sweden, Austria and Netherlands are so close to each other in the odds that it really doesn't matter whether they're 1st or 4th.

The interesting thing is that Armenia, Sweden and Austria will perform in the first half of the final and Netherlands will perform in the second half. I think it's going give some sort of advantage to Netherlands.

True this ^

At the moment, the numbers 2-4 are still switching, Sweden seems to be the only steady one.

Yes, I know. But still I wouldn't rule out their chances, especially not Austria's...the Austrian performance could have a lasting impact, stretching into the second half. There's another one that I expect to impress on Saturday: the UK.

The draw is unbelievable.

21 Hungary (contender for the top 5, maybe win)
22 Malta
23 Denmark (top 10 contender, host entry)
24 Netherlands (contender for the win)
25 San Marino
26 United Kingdom (another contender for the win)

It LOOKS like a good draw, but it's also very very crowded in that last part. There are 3 possible top 3 (or even winning) songs there.

To be drawn in the 18-25 slot is very favorable, but 24 might a bit late....

Well, it's biggest enemies are in the first half (:am::se: and maybe :ua:) so on the whole I think you've been lucky!
