Don't agree with the list...I prefer a winning songtitel that is less cliche, but hey that just my opinion!
There's nothing wrong with a little chauvinism. Don't we all want to 'win'?
It gets a problem when you are starting to view other countries as less than your own.
I don't really like most songs this year. IMO UK deserves to win.
I'm in London saturday, so I can actually cheat and vote for the Netherlands ánd Finland

Hmmm, don't agree on that. I have seen a lot, especially the last couple of days. =)I haven't seem that many people with The Netherlands on their top 5 so it is far from cliche but Ey, each to their own.
Wouldn't that be suprisingly amazing if Netherlands wins the competetion this year

In Portugal we too call it Holanda, even though the official name in Portuguese is Países Baixos. However has Holland is just a part (two provinces) of the Netherlands it annoys me a bit
One of the best songs in my opinion. The performance is great and it really makes all the potential of the song to come through. Wouldn't mind this winning at all.
My mom loved it
Deserves to win? Hmm, I honestly believe the UK. I could lie and pretend I want something else to win but this year I do think the UK. Even if it was another countries song I would want it to win.
I meant that it is bad if you're have an opinion about a song/entry before you have actually seen it. You probably want the UK to do well, nothing wrong with that. I pray every year for the Dutch to come up with something good. But if they send some crap I won't like it, but I would still be hoping they do well.Well if I think UK is the best, then obviously I think all the other songs are less than the UK??
Nice choice for the winner
Fair.
I just listened to the UK song. Have to say the chorus reminds me a little bit of Queen's "Princes of the Universe" but she's definitely no Freddie Mercury.
Nah just kidding! Didn't think much of it though. Maybe her performance saturday can change that but she comes across as a screamer. Voice isn't that great.
While I also was skeptic about our chances with "Calm After The Storm" I have to say it grew on me. The performance yesterday was great as well. Top 10 material.

You only just heard the UK song? Lol, amazing.
