Quite interesting 1st week of grass tournaments, lot of surprises as usual but we saw some interesting stuff :

WTA :

- Alexandrova who was already really strong last year on grass looks again solid there, wouldn't surprise me if she reaches the quarter-finals in Wimbledon depending on her draw, Kudermetova looks solid also, just hoping she won't make the same error as on clay season, she tired herself too much before Roland Garros, that S'Hertogenbosch final was a delight !

- Boulter was impressive in Nottingham, quite a solid grass player

Berlin is madness, so many big names there, we might already get a little idea of who's in good shape and who's not

ATP :

- Tiafoe and Struff really impressed me, wonderful final with two very solid players

- Really enjoyable final in S'Hertogenbosch too with Griekspoor beating Thompson, also quite a nice come-back from Raonic

- Watch out for sir Andy Murray, he already played and won 10 grass games, yes it's on Challenger but it's very important since most players don't get to play so many grass games before Wimbledon to get used to the surface

Many big names in Queens tournament and Halle !

Also not a grass tournamenent but Nishikori wins a Challenger in Puerto Rico for his first tournament since 20 months

Sooo this week :

WTA :

- Rybakina and Sabalenka losing early but am not worried, the transition clay/grass is quite hard, was quite obvious they didn't really get used to grass yet, they're still the two favourites for the win in Wimbledon imo

- Kvitova/Ostapenko/Alexandrova were all impressive, I don't understand the first two's decision of going to Eastbourne tho, imagine winning like Berlin/Eastbourne, you'll go to Wimbledon completely tired !

- Not this week but am curious to see Iga in Bad Homburg, I don't think she's ready to win Wimbledon yet but who knows she might do like Alcaraz and turn into grass specialist out of sudden lmao

ATP :

- Alcaraz is a phenomenon, how the hell did he improve this fast on grass ? Also kudos to De Minaur, he was amazing but sadly for him Alcaraz was better on the key points

- Bublik had an amazing week, he's really great when he's not acting like a clown but man is probably playing Majorque, WHY THE HELL ? You're so good rn you can have a great Wimbledon, why go waste that by playing in bloody Majorque ? Also bit sad for Rublev, I hope he'll have a good Wimbledon

Next week : the week in which the players who lose will have the better Wimbledon lmao

Quite a strange week that didn't tell us a lot except that Iga definitely plays MUCH BETTER than last season on grass

So for Wimbledon :

Iga lmao I swear it might be the first time of the season that she has a great draw xD

Sabalenka/Rybakina/Jabeur tho have such a tough draw

I think Iga will reach the final, there's only Kudermetova or Vekic that I see as other contenders to stop her

The other part is unpredictable tho, of course it looks like it'll be a Rybakina/Sabalenka semi but Rybakina didn't fully recover from her virus in Roland Garros and am not sure if Sabalenka is ready for this Wimbledon

Girls like Kvitova/Alexandrova/Jabeur/Muchova/Potapova/Krejcikova will be really dangerous too (maybe even Ostapenko can surprise)

Muchova tho am not sure since she didn't play any grass tournament, I guess it's to recover form the virus she catched towards the end of Roland Garros

Now this was an intense first day :

WTA :

- Coco what happened ? I couldn't watch her game but man her stats are not good, congrats to Kenin !

- Iga did a great game, Zhu was doing quite well in the precedent tournaments and was kinda scary, but splendid game from Iga

- Cruel injury for Fruhvirtova :( despite that injury she fought so hard but sadly couldn't make it 'til the end of the game

- Not surprised by Samsonova's elimination, her preparation was a mess

- Very solid game from Kudermetova against a tricky Kanepi

- Siniakova very solid against Zheng who is really not improving since last year

ATP :

- Solid game from Novak

- DAVID AND STAN 😍

- Michael Mmoh big boss eliminating FAA

Watched the tie-break, the girls could barely walk between the points, stunning stuff

I do hope Tsurenko manages to recover properly for her next game

Iga's match was a mess with so many ups and downs. I lost faith in her several times but she was stronger at the end than frustration-queen Bencic. I've only lost money on betting odds... it was a messss.
At least I was right about aZarenka vs Svitolina result 1:2. Svitolina fought like a lion and the last minutes were a horror.

This Wimbledon is really a rollercoaster with the interruptions, rain, the games full of tension and all, guess it's time to make some little recap xD

ATP :

- The Rublev/Bublik game was amazing, so happy Rublev won and yeah kudos to Bublik who played a really great game

- Berrettini hello sir ? Man didn't win a single game since April and now he comes and destroys De Minaur and Zverev ? Impressive stuff ! His game against Alcaraz will be interesting

- Shapovalov being kinda clownesque again, congrats to Safiullin who's playing well in this tournament

- Bless Jannik having the best draw ever xD

- Hurkacz really did amazing against Novak before the interruption, but yeah the score is 2 - 0 Novak now 'cause that dude is just a beast mentally, ridiculous how he never loses a tie-break, such focus

- Medvedev and Lehecka will be a nice game probably, both of them are playing great tennis currently

- I have no idea what to expect from Dimitrov/Rune, Grigor is able to play like a N°1 and at the same time like a N°100, and idk if Rune recovered properly from his thriller against Davidovich Fokina (Alejandro sis, you cannot do a serve like that at 8/8 in the super tie-break)

Special mentions to :

- Murray/Goffin/Wawrinka who played really well this tournament, the come-back of the oldies xheart

WTA :

- Iga made me so nervous but at the end of the day managed to win, huge kudos to Bencic who played really great despite her injury, what a battle !

- Svitolina really is amazing and playing much better than in her "prime", back in the days she was kind of a choker and would've 100% lost that game, but now she's so strong mentally and plays such great tennis, she'll probably be in the top 20 by the end of the season

- Vondrousova is quite impresive, beating Kudermetova/Vekic/Bouzkova on grass is quite solid, I hope she'll be fine physically since she's one who struggled a lot with injuries

- Jessica having the best draw ever, don't know if she'll beat Vondrou tho, it'll be hard

- Andreeva is such a talent, 16 yo and reaching Wimbledon R16 is impressive, however I rate Potapova's game as a huge flop, she was clearly not playing at the level you would expect from her, don't know if Andreeva will beat Keys but since the American tends to disappoint a lot in GS she can do it !

- The Jabeur/Kvitova will be great to watch, none of them actually impressed me in this tournament so far but we all know what they can do

- Alexandrova/Sabalenka will probably be great too, Alexandrova had a great preparation and is a very solid grass player (even if she really scared herself against Brengle), Aryna had a hard time against Gracheva but is playing better and better

- I still think Elena is the big favourite of the tournament, her game against Boulter who is a grass specialist was pure delight ! Haddad Maia is a warrior and does have the game to maybe hold on against Elena, but I don't think she can beat her

Sooo yesterday :

ATP :

- Medvedev beats Lehecka but the Czech was really too tired physically, it could've been a great game, am curious about Daniil's quarter final against Eubanks who was fantastic against Tsitsipas, what a tournament from him !

- So happy Novak won but have to say huge kudos to Hurkacz who played AMAZING, he could've beated anyone when playing like that, but sadly for him it was Novak against him

- Alcaraz played great even if Berrettini was just too tired at a moment, it was a while since he didn't play two games in a row so yeah logic

- Dimitrov choking part 3947947498, this man had everything but never really did what was expected from him in his career, Rune played solid !

WTA :

- Keys was solid against Andreeva, that kid is worrying me tho, it looks like she's really struggling emotionally and all ? There's really too much pressure on her shoulders, she's only a 16 yo...

- Very sad for Haddad Maia who got injuried during her game against Rybakina, well when you see Elena's level I don't think Bea would've won but still it's just too sad :(

- Perfect game from Aryna, I hope those who say she just hits the ball hard without thinking watched that game, it was full of variations, she destroyed Alexandrova

- Jabeur destroyed Kvitova, quite an embarassing performance from the Czech, very solid one from Ons !

The first quarter-finals :

ATP :

- Huge game between Djokovic and Rublev, seriously the level was ridiculously good ! Really happy Novak won even if am kinda sad for Andrey

- Sinner was solid

WTA :

- This had to be Iga's worst game in a while, seriously girl this is the kind of games you have to win in two sets, Svitolina didn't even do anything special but yeah congrats to her, mad respect for her come-back ! Iga still has to improve a lot on grass

- Vondrousova played a great game against Pegula, very solid performance from her !

Ngl I have no idea who'll win between those two, Vondrousova looks a bit better tennistically but Svitolina looks stronger mentally, dunno, I think it'll be a pretty good game and I think the winner of the tournament will be in the other semi-final anyway

Tomorrow will be fire, Rybakina/Jabeur the remake of the last final, Alcaraz/Rune will probably be great, also really curious to see Aryna against Keys

Last quarter-finals :

ATP :

- Very nice game to watch between Eubanks and Medvedev, Daniil finally adjusted his returning position and that made all the difference towards the end of the game

- Very strong performance from Alcaraz !

WTA :

- Jabeur played the best game of her career, that was some ridiculous shit, Rybakina played well, not the best she played but still it was very hard to beat her, huge performance from Ons !

- Really good game from Aryna, I really hope she wins the tournament now even if it would mean that Iga would lose her N°1 spot, but yeah shit happens, she'll eventually get it back someday

I think Elina will beat Marketa. Ons can beat Sabalenka. Jabeur ftw.

Edit:
- I am happy that Medvedev won. Eubancks seems to be a wannabe Kyrgios v2.0. Plus he relies on service so much like Karlovic. Boring tennis to watch.
SF1: Alcaraz - Medvedev
- Novak is beatable but I don't think Sinner can do it. He can win a set though.
SF2: Novak - Sinner

- Svitolina lost... she looked really tired and lacked precision. Vondrousova is a huge surprise for me to reach the final but it's max for her I guess. Ons was mentally powerful against Sabalenka who was very unpatient again and made a lot of unforced errors. Ons has to win at this point, she has to be the first African woman to win a GS - she deserves it.
xpray

With Sabalenka's loss Iga remains number one!

So yesterday :

- Impressive Vondrousova again, Svitolina played like against Iga but this time her opponent didn't give her many free points, I rated Vondrousova as a player to watch but really didn't think she would play THAT well in the tournament, impressive !

- Great game from Jabeur, Aryna really could've won the game but really lost it after losing that service game at 4/2, also please Aryna just fire this useless thing that is your coach, I hope Iga also fires her coach

I'll be rooting for Ons in the final !

Sinner will be wanting to get his revenge after last year against Novak, but I don't think he can do it

I have no idea about the Alcaraz/Medvedev, I swear Daniil must be so annoying to play when you're serving xD sometimes he's 5 meters far from his line, sometimes he gets closer, sometimes he moves away again

I think Alcaraz might win this game

Well, quite a painful Wimbledon for me xD

WTA :

- Ons why :( you played the best tennis in your career against Elena and Aryna, and then you play such an awful match in the final, still congrats to Vondrousova, what a comeback this is after her injuries xheart

ATP :

- This one hurts, really really hurts, but yeah congrats to Alcaraz, I hope Novak can have his revenge in US Open

Poor Ons, lost twice.. reminded me of Radwańska who lost against goat Williams in 2012 and had an easy road in 2013, somehow lost and was never that close again...

N. Djokovic deservedly lost the final.

What a strange Canadian Open in both brackets, all the favourites were underwhelming except Sinner and Pegula

Rybakina is doing well too but I am really worried for her shoulders

Happy that Pegula won

But man the organisation of that tournament was such a shame

Rybakina picking up an injury because of their fucked up programation, now am really worried for her in USO

Samsonova having 1h30/2h of rest after her game against Rybakina ot then play against Pegula, she didn't stand a chance 'cause girl could barely run

Happy that the US Open finally started, yesterday was an interesting first day :

WTA :

- Solid first game from Iga and also Elena who despite an injury totally destroyed Kostyuk

- Amazing game between Haddad Maia and Stephens, happy that the Brazilian won !

- Sakkari... :(

- Was close for Mertens but she still made it ! I don't expect her to beat Collins tho

- Gauff had a hell of a hard time against Siegemund

ATP :

- The highlight of the day for me, Dominic won a GS game xheart xheart xheart xheart

- Rune is out but yeah not surprising with his back problems

- Musetti........

- Really happy to have predicted McDonald eliminating Auger Aliassime, the Canadian is really having a bad season

- Novak easy peasy
