We have a guaranteed spot in the Wimbledon women's singles final, because Lucie Šafářová made it to the semifinal for the first time in her career. She will face either Petra Kvitová or Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová, both Czechs too xheya
Great tournament for our girls xcheer

Wimbledon begins today. xyaay Good luck Masha xlove

Sharapova out.

I want Safarova to win the tournament, but It'll almost certainly be either Halep or Bouchard.

So happy that Lucie finally did it! She was thrilled in the post-match interview. :) She is doing so well in doubles with Pavlyuchenkova too, they saved 9 match points in R2 against 4th seeds and won. I really hope this is the turning point of her career xpray Draw is very open now with both Serena and Sharapova out, I hope either Lucie or Sabine takes the title. :D

It may be at least the chance of Simona Halep. Fingers crossed ! Simona deserves it !
BTW, the only former Grand Slam winner left among ladies is Petra Kvitova...

And Nick Kyrgios is about to beat Nadal ! xbow

EDIT : It's done ! xbowxbowxbow

I don't think so, both have been troubled by less quality opponents already and Bouchard lacks experience of playing big matches on grass (and so does Halep). I'd say it's between Lisicki and Kvitova, both great servers, Kvitova won once already and Lisicki has been playing amazingly well at Wimbledon for years now. But fingers crossed for Lucie, if she plays like she did in second set against Makarova today - why not her? :D She almost defeated Kvitova just 2 weeks ago when she wasn't playing nearly as good as she does now.

Moving through Germany
Petko is out, that was predictable. Bouchard is young and uprising player. Don't know where her journey in WTA Tour will end. But I hope her next match will be the last one! If Kerber and Lisicki each will win her match, it's safe that there is again a german player in the final! xcheer

But they have the stronges opponents. Halep and Bouchard will be hard to play.

I would love Kvitova or Lisicki to win but i really don't like Halep or Bouchard. :D And Lucie is on fire as well. :) And I am not gonna say 'no' for Kerber, either.
Btw; i really don't get the hate for Sharapova, either.
