No, it's just a silly request from Asena.
Asena was a famous bellydancer formerly, i guess she tries to be popular again. She wants to be a part of maNga's show but needless to say that this is impossible.

I didn't know that maNga has a lot of fans in Azerbaijan. I've read at maNga fan site that some of Azeri maNga fans went to ?çtimai TV to see maNga and fans gave them some presents.

I also found a video from youtube. Selim Serezli (their manager) talks about maNga.

Well isn'r Turkey and Azerbaijan a pretty similar situation to Greece & Cyprus or Romania & Moldova, for exampe? The people aren't as close genetically and don't speak the exact same language but still...

Yor second sentence is meaningless. Whic people are not close genetically? Cypriot and Greek people are the same people. Moldovan people and romanian people are relatives and in these two examples they speak the some language with the other one.

Azerbaijan and Turkey are not as similar to the examples above. Turkey is full of different cultures and ethnics. In Turkey turkish, kurdish, arabic are mainly spoken. In Azerbaijan Azeri turkish, russian, persian are widely spoken. We are not the same. But the origins of the founder populations of these two countries are brothers. That's why we call each other as brother.
