I'm.... torn. VERY impressed that Nemo can sing so well while balancing on that thing. But I'm not really sure it works. It's very unique, but as of now I really don't know what to think. I'm still very on board with a Swiss win, but I'm not sure this will do it.

And yeah, that Outfit... is hideous. The styling in the MV was so much better :(

I'm still very torn on this. The platform could be an epic moment if they use it wisely, but if he's just doing theatrics on it for 3 minutes straight it will lose the effect.

The dress - as many have mentioned - is quite distracting and clashes with the rest of the staging which looks very slick and polished. It'd be much improved if the feathers were limited a little bit, at least on the legs

Tbh :ch: still sounds very good live but watching the rehearsal clip the performance feels like a total joke entry after the rather slick dance performances of :mt: :al: and especially :gr:. The outfit and the whole color/ staging concept totally ruins their chances in my opinion. Feels like a 4th-8th place finisher now tbh.

I like the spinning prop but I wish the outfit was made out of better material, it looks like a blood-soaked Santa Claus beard. Also missing some colour in the clip, I hope there will be more variety in the full performance.

Disappointed. Expected so much more from this great song and singer. Can't understand the flamingo vibe idea. Way too ridiculous and ridiculousness doesn't win Eurovision.

With Switzerland I'm getting a strong 2018 flashbacks from ESC fandom. Like with Netta, people decided that small detail could cost a chance of winning. I don't think outfit will strongly affect his chances to win especially when you can sing and spinnin like this.

I'm not big fan of this song, for me Code is a definion of try-too-hard and I was waiting for performance to rate this entry. And I was expecting a little bit of another approach to staging, but still I'm fully sold on this performance. Don't know will he win, but top3 should be in the bag. :12: points.

I saw the exclusive clip earlier, and from what I saw it looked amazing. Nemo's pink outfit pops against the dark background, and the way they can sing as well as do all those moves on that rotating platform was just wow. I'm now really looking forward to the entire performance next week, and they're still getting my votes because I love the song a lot

Switzerland's also going to stand out because the three acts before them and the two acts after are all similar: solo female bangers with an army of backing dancers

No idea why this is suddenly doing so badly in the odds. It looked great and is a rather unique performance. The outfit isn't that distracting in the video and I don't think it will be AS big of a factor as people claim, for it's final result.

If the juries support this enough that it wins with a decent margin and it gets around 6-7th in televoting, I think it would be enough to win.

I expect them to do well with the juries (2nd or 3rd). The public however is a different story. I expect them to do very well with the public too but how well is well? The performance and the song are very artsy and can go in any direction. I would not be surprised if they end up similar to Gjon‘s Tears in the public vote.

You may not forget that the very friendly LGBTQ+ ESC community celebrates them not only for the song but for what they represent. It’s a little bonus that adds to the hype. You can’t expect that from a casual viewer.

It's always fascinating to see how the odds fluctuate in the lead-up to Eurovision, isn't it? While it's true that a surge in bets can significantly impact the odds, it's essential to take these fluctuations with a grain of salt.
In the case of Croatia, it seems like a single wealthy enthusiastic bettor (who is known to me, at another ESC forum) might have caused the sudden shift. But let's not forget that the Swiss entry still holds strong potential. After all (if I had the means) I'd certainly consider placing a hefty bet on Switzerland.
It's all part of the excitement and unpredictability of Eurovision!

I don't disagree that this could be the case but if the reaction to Switzerland was a positive one, shouldn't the odds have remained more or less the same (or go down only a bit at least)? For example, according to eurovisionworld, Ukraine and Italy's odds are down in some companies but up in others. Switzerland isall red right now.

I feel like this is still the most obvious winner, feel like it's going to do somewhat similar to Israel 2018, or even better (as in, I can see this end up top 2 in both votes). It might lose to Italy just because La Noia seems to be the safest bet for ending up top 3-5 in both the votes.

I cannot see Croatia doing significantly better in the televote than Switzerland, and The Code is way more jury friendly.

If I would be a betting person, my bet would be on this one now.

Checking out Nemo's Instagram page, there seems to be a lot of positive feedback regarding the video clip - I also noticed the same on the YouTube video (more positive feedback than negative) put out on the ESC channel. So it seems that Hector's observation might be true that someone put a huge wager on Croatia and caused a shift between first and second

Of course, people need to see the entire performance on Thursday to see for themselves that Switzerland is still a strong contender for victory

Tumblr, mostly.
I personally never thought Nemo would win - I always assumed they'd be second or third to the actual winner. Nothing that I have seen so far dissuades me from thinking Switz won't be top three - the staging is eye-catching and looks good in the clip. Ending strong is always a favourable thing if you want to snag televotes, which is the song's main weak point from a competitive perspective.

:ch: is not winning either. Even they get top 5 with the jury, TV will be low. The song is already experimental for ESC standards, the outfits are a joke, staging is confusing. The whole thing will be too much to the voters.

Sorry, but that outfit would be the clear winner for the Barbara Dex Award this year if that still existed.

I really love the song, but am not too thrilled about his oufit. I need to see the whole performance to make a final statement though ...
