Just put Malaga on ignore. I don't get it. You're given the tools to silence those who irritate you. Either you use those tools or you must learn to be more patient with trolls. They're not going to change for you, it's just what they are and if they go too far and you feel like you're going to say things that get you in trouble report the post that rustles your jimmies to the mods and take it up with them. Don't go looking at the rest of us for support. A forum is not a democracy.

I've done it. Trust me, it's going to be so much better. Let's engage with people that are genuinely interested in the contest. And ignore the person who is basically just trolling with every spiteful comment.

I'm basically waiting for San Marino to save this year's competition. Lol. Or not.

I thought this was ESCUtd not ESCUto man thinks he owns the place...x
I don't, which is exactly why I told him to go speak with management. I realize it might seem like I was trying to police the place, but I did the exact opposite thing.

okay fine... this song is growing on me. I'm changing from 5 to 7.
Again it seems that everyone is saying the obvious problem suisse song has. It's a grower. It doesn't impress you the first time. In eurovision, they only have 1 chance to impress you to vote for them. Most ppl listen to songs for first time in May. This song will get lost in the sea of ballads.

It's true that being a grower is generally not what you want, but most ballads suffer from this problem. Upside is that ballads bring an atmosphere and you can enhance this greatly through staging. There is far more potential to hook people with visuals and draw them in to get an emotional response. Bangers just don't get that same reaction.

Conchita Wurst - Rise Like a Phoenix is your ex,hibit (comma needed to escape it becoming a smilie for some reason) A here. Song is a pebble without visuals. With them it's a monolith.

That's a good assesment. A lot will depend on staging compared to the other ballads. Because their first competition is against the ballads and then against the most upbeat songs. That's not the case with an upbeat song.

They also try to be on last year's level, but I don't see it happening. What staging are we talking about? Him sitting in front of piano fake playing it while I watch on clock when will it be finished.

I don't know for others but this song impress me on first listening. And I knew it immediately, "ok that's it, this is my #1 for this year".

But it's questionable if live version will left same impression on people tho.

This song is outstanding. I'm giving a :10: and I will not give a :12: just because I don't like this as much as other 4 songs.
This is classy, professional, touching, and I'm sure that if the live is good enough this is a contender for the top 5.

This song is likely to be hard to get the staging right for. I've listened to it a couple of times and I keep drawing blanks when looking for ideas.

It is a pity that he didn't make a duet with Ilira.

Imagine a black and white staging for this xheat

I think it's a very Eurovision-y song, not very radio friendly, but I love how it manages to be a contender without forcing to be radio friendly. I'm getting hyped.
