Since I've seen him on the Voice of France I knew he was bound for stardom. I am glad that Switzerland is eager to continue their streak after a long and dire period of misfires that must have been too depressing. Another classic ESC-nation that claims back their crown? And it would be 33 years after CĂ©line Dion and 66 after Lys Assia. Would be too good to be true. xheart

THE GOOD:
-He may be one of the best crooners this year, if not the best. He can sure reach them high notes!
-I can tell that this is a deep and thoughtful song and that a lot of care was put into the production.
-Even though the instrumentals have their moments, I love that there's not much of them.

THE BAD:
-A very minor nitpick, but it was a bit boring.

THE VERDICT:
This is a very good song. Even though it might not win, I do see this being the most appreciated song in the contest, just for its production value and, of course, his very good vocal range. If the staging is done right, I could see this in the top ten, maybe even in the top five. All in all, it's quite the memorable entry from the Swiss! 10 points

Can't believe I fell for his trolling post denying the rumors :ROFLMAO:

Great voice, beautiful ballad with a haunting dark vibe. He will for sure steal the top points from Albania since he's of Albanian descent, and is known because of Albania's got talent. It's a :10: for me at the moment.

I'm not a big fan of French language songs to begin with, but this is also boring. 4 bonus pts for production

He'll need Kristian K vocals to pull this off. Brave composition. Deserves a top ten finish.

Hold your horses, we haven't yet seen his live-version.

Brava Switzerland which compared to France had the courage to represent one of its official languages (in Switzerland the French language is spoken by 22.8% of the population) xclap The French language has extraordinary elegance xrose The ESC should be a stage to exhibit European diversity in harmony with each other and one should not wish to conform to a language and "catchy sounds that are right for the competition" xgaahFurthermore, an excellent commercial choice, the song may have a market in France, in Belgium, and Switzerland xqueenbitch

Now enough congratulations! What does not work for this very deeply interpreted song is that it never "takes flight", the emotions remain flat xthink

I put Switzerland in my "Top 10". For me, it's 8 as a vote, and :5: points for now.

Tumblr, mostly.
Yeah, 'sterile' is perhaps the most apt way to describe this song. It plays an imitation game and does it well and it will probably qualify and do decent in the finale... but it's a homunculus stiched together from leftover arcade scraps and there's no dr. Frankenstein (who as I just recall is also Swiss ) to pull the light switch.

I like the idea of Switzerland paying homage to the runaway favourites by shamelessly cloning them the year thereafter. First Fuego, now Arcade. Can't WAIT until they copy Think About Things next year...x

Great handycraft from Switzerland! From being one of my least favourite countries they have really pulled themselves together.
This is solid. It's in french. What is there not to like about this? Well... I cant put my finger on exactly what, but this doesnt grab me. While listening I am thinking - "this is a really good song, interesting too" - but then my thoughts wander off, and my heart never gets on board.
Brain says 10 - but according to my heart this is more of a 7. xthink

Almost the same thought but I have been more severe. In my "top 10" but 5 points.

I absolutely love it! It’s a very haunting ballad, sung in a beautiful language by a singer with a great voice. What more could I ask for? It’s a clear :12: for me, thank you so much Switzerland.
