Say Yay! Very happy with this. It's not an amazing song, but I do like it a lot.

The song is good but the staging is lacking and makes it look unremarkable.

The composition is not that bad, but this anti talent of a singer butchers it completely..

This is almost tragically bad performance...really should be below the standards for a performance which bids for one of the biggest festivals..

I actually feel Rykka has the most "star power" out of all the acts selected so far.

Kinda of slighty above average. Not spectacular, can't really see this as a winner, but I like the overall concept, very Sia-nesque. The lyrics are quite good, the production is a li'l amateurish but it can be improved and I really think it would be useful.

While I agree that the entries we've got so far are pretty weak, consider that they're from countries who weren't too great last year either, speaking objectively. Only one country from last year's top 15 - Belgium - has given us their entry so far, and in total we've only got the entries from 4 of last year's 27 finalists (Belgium, Spain, Albania and Austria - maybe not counting Albania, when you consider they'll be revamping it, or Austria, when you consider they won't auto-qualify this year). On the other hand, we've got 5 songs from last year's 13 non-qualifiers (Belarus, Denmark, Ireland, Malta, Switzerland). Assuming relatively stable song quality per year across countries - which is about the best we can do for now, until we have all the songs - this means we've got something like 7-15% of songs that will qualify, and 38% of those that won't, which would look bad in any year if that was all we had (since, on average, those percentages would be even rather than slanted towards the NQ entries). Hopefully the trend of weak reveals is stopped when some of the traditionally stronger ESC countries reveal their entries over the coming weeks.

I love her voice. All those falceto parts. Amazing.

THE GOOD:

-This song sounds like an actual hit song. I see it having success outside Eurovision, because it's that good.
-It is also somewhat memorable.

THE BAD:

-Not necessarily a bad thing, but for me, the instrumentals do sound a bit simple (ie, I wish there was more going on). They fit the song, so it really doesn't matter.

THE VERDICT:

We could see another Celine Dion-like success story in Rykka, because I really like this song and I do see it in the Final. At this moment, it's my favorite. 10 points

Is anyone noticing that the results in the poll don't exactly scream "mass forum favorite?" I'm surprised given that that's exactly what she seemed to be during the NF.

I gave it 2 pts in the poll. Not a terrible song but her live performance was really bad, although there is room for improvement and the song has potential. She has to work her ass off though.

I think it's a case of the quality for Switzerland being very poor with this being the best of a bad bunch rather than enthusiasm for the song.
