I thought Chiara finished 2nd. Shocking results for Lys & Atomic Angels, people seemed to like them before the nf. Glad that people liked I Quattro, wasn't expecting that.

It is Siegel's 8th place. But silly Swiss, I think that was the only entry that stood the chance to convince the audience imho. Probably the unskilled jurors' talking confused them. Unbreakable = big failure.

Is there somewhere I can watch the whole thing? Only just by comparing Lys Assia's performance and song and the winners', I believe it was a wrong choice - very bland song and we couldn't really here the singer's voice half of the time.

That song is insufferable. So repetitive, and he doesn't seem to be able to pronounce "swim against the stream" correctly. Actually his accent is just horrible.

I know it's easy to say that in hindsight, but I'm not surprised at Lys Assia's placing. "C'est Ma Vie" would've been a dated song in the Sixties, let alone in 2012.

And I'm very happy that my 12 pointer ended up in third place ("Anima Nuova").

The only correct winner, and for me Switzerland could be looking at their best result in years. 10 points from me.

In my opinion, this song isn't even 1/8th as great as "In Love For A While" was and if Anna Rossinelli struggled to qualify this year, this is doomed to die a bloody death in Baku.

This Swiss final was just very unremarkable musically as a whole. Though it could've been worse and when I say that I'm specifically referring to that geriatric nightmare called Lys.

Wow, this is a fantastic entry. The beginning sounds a bit like U2. 2 jewels in a row from the Swiss. I just hope this one does better

Btw does anyone else think it's cute the way they pronounce it 'sweem against the strim'?

I kinda like it, although his pronounciation is just...awful. They should sing it in italian It sort of reminds of Miodio, but that can only be a good thing. Good luck Switzerland!

I'm really realy happy that grand mother Assia didn't qualify. And still the 8th place was too high for this old thing.
