What are some people seeing that Im not? That staging doesnt look half as innovative as the staging of heroes, and he won coz of that in 2015. Not to mention the song isnt as catchy either
But then you will tell me, we dont really have any contenders or huge hitters so far... In a weak year anything can happen pfff

Bara bada bastu's chorus is an earworm indeed... I sincerely hope swedes can look past that the staging feels like a comedy act, because the song is the best of the week.

Andreas Lundstedt: Sounds like it's made by Suno, so cliche, yikes.
Tennessee Tears: Ridiculously fake "country" of the kinds that's really common in MF now for some reason.
MånsZHomophobicus: Not particularly exciting or convincing IMO. Really don't think this will win MF, even if the competition isn't strong.
KAJ: Melodically weak, but interesting. The stage performance could really strengthen it. This could be the success "joke entry" that we've lacked so far in this edition.

The two female solo artists i think can be skipped entirely, very small chance AmenA could get the 3rd place but i don't see it happening.

So if i have to bet... Måns, KAJ, then any of the other three i mentioned. Scarlet has to save this whole thing.

Holllllllly shit there's the level at which Tattoo was a Euphoria retread and then there's a whole other level on which Revolution is a Heroes retread. Ohhhh my god. I do think this will likely win MelFest and will do decently well at Eurovision if it gets there but the easy, glide path, Napoleonic winner I was kinda thinking we might get...very much not so much.

Måns is generally quite overhated in the esc bubble (and that's coming from someone who hates Heroes with passion)
Revolution is a pretty boring song with some great production - it'll probably win Melfest off of name alone and do quite good in Eurovision, but it ain't winning - it's too basic and faceless ultimately.

I guess you could argue that Tattoo was sorta a basic song too, but Loreen is a superstar on stage - Måns is a great performer but nowhere near her caliber.
