i agree with you, if this wasnt sweden and not a returning artist, this would most likely get more praise, especially for the staging. not sure about the song.Yeah, with all the hate Revolution is getting, I'm more and more convinced that the average ESC fan is more influenced by narrative then the actual song.
It's not my thing, it's pretty vanilla, but damn, if any other country other then Sweden had this in the running and it wasn't a returning winner who isn't that well liked for some reason - this package would have been praised to high heavens.
Both the song and staging are extremely basic and dated, for me Sweden somehow could send songs more dated than songs from 2010s years after years and doing well in the scoreboard is beyond me.i agree with you, if this wasnt sweden and not a returning artist, this would most likely get more praise, especially for the staging. not sure about the song.
the last 10 / 15 seconds are really amazing imo, but there is not that much artistic quality in the song imo, and the polished perfection is something that has become a bit off putting. fascinating and impressive, but not that loveable.
so yea sweden may have to deal with some criticism that others countries don't have to deal with
afraid? what are you afraid ofI'm becoming afraid of KAJ!! 🥹🥹🥹
Why I have to choose this year to watch live MF final, to be afraid in Arena..
I will be pissed as hell if that happens... It will be the WORST Swedish entry EVER..
hm i personally wouldnt call the staging dated nor basic, and especially the climax towards the end is quite a moment. Both the song and staging are extremely basic and dated, for me Sweden somehow could send songs more dated than songs from 2010s years after years and doing well in the scoreboard is beyond me.
The staging basically screams Applause by Lady Gaga, then water down, then water down, then water down, then water down......hm i personally wouldnt call the staging dated nor basic, and especially the climax towards the end is quite a moment.
For that HORROR to win, I wouldn't survive this...I am waiting for way too many years to attend MF final live (I like MF more than ESC) to be served there with victory pf KAJ..afraid? what are you afraid of
well i cross my fingers that u survive the result of a music competition...For that HORROR to win, I wouldn't survive this...I am waiting for way too many years to attend MF final live (I like MF more than ESC) to be served there with victory pf KAJ..![]()
You can't understand that... It is different situation with me and MF and attending the final of it live.. I would have to explain a bit more, and not sure if it is appropriate for here...well i cross my fingers that u survive the result of a music competition...
I'm sorry, but Luxembourg who did poor is trying with similar stuff after come back, year after year, and we are speaking about Swedish ESC winners copying themselves.. I'm really sorry..I may be alone in this, but for me it sounded like Måns said to himself:
"I'll do the same sort of song as I did 10 years ago, but it's OK if it's not as good. If Loreen can get away with what she did, well so can I!"
Sure, he does a good job singing it, but the melody is… well, basic and so are the (cringy) lyrics.
I'd much rather see KAJ winning the whole thing.
Do I think that 'Revolution' would be a great winner of Eurovision 2025? No, absolutely not.
Can I mention other entries so far that would be better winners of Eurovision 2025? Not really ...
