That first super faraway shot of the stage gave me scary flashbacks to Heat 4's invasion

Also, never realized just how messy Jon Henrik's song is, especially the final chorus

I love all the German fans in the audience who are unapologetically clapping to the beat of this masterpiece.

Song 1: Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Arc North feat. Adam Woods – "Where You Are (Sávežan)"
Jon has previously participated in Melfest in 2015, 2017 and 2019. He’s back this year with the song "Where You Are (Sávežan)". I like the “eh oh ah ya” joik sound at the start, and at frequent moments during the song. That reminds me of Norway’s ESC 2019 entry. The majority of the singing in the performance is what I’d class as pop music. There’s a good beat during the song. In addition, the mountains and patterns on the background screen enhance the song. A lively song to start tonight’s line-up.

Seriously, this is not his year... but :se: HAS to send Jon Henyrk at some point.

He´s way too talented, amazing, handsome, charming to NOT send to Eurovision!

Not wanting to dance anymore, but I must dance
I really wish it'd been in Swedish, rather than English.

When Jon Henrik competed with Swedish language songs he didn't get votes; he knows he won't get any support with a Swedish-language song, that's the state of Melfest today.

Still so disappointed in the Jon Henrik entry. :( I have adored all his solo entries, but the dance fusion isn't working for me at all.

I loved his other attempts a bit more as well (they were more atmospheric) but honestly, I think that this EDM-pop-fusion would set all landlines on fire in May.

No kidding - It´s giving me Rednex/KEiiNo vibes.
EUROPE will always be in favor of such sounds!

I don´t get this entry.

The tropical pop beat should have died and buried after Dua Lipa´s debut album.

Great performance by Tone. I loved her entry last year, too. Both songs are on my playlist xheart I hope she wins Melfest one day!
