See, this is what I don’t like.
Only because some of us don’t like the song or the performance or even Loreen it doesn’t mean we are salty!
I couldn’t care less! In fact I do expect Loreen to win ESC!

Who else does have a chance? Loreen is pandered to the max. She‘s courted. It’s a fact. She has lots of fans, she‘s known at Eurovision. Producers know this. She‘s the formula to success.

Do I think she deserves it? No. But then again, many winners didn’t deserve victory in the past in my opinion. She‘s not the first. I‘ve already accepted the fact she‘s gonna win. No salt.

People with such accusations come across as very snobbish! As if anyone who doesn’t like Tattoo is gonna get salty only because we dare to criticize. So here we are again. People can’t stop making digs at those who are not a fan of Tattoo. It’s getting ridiculous.
Why did you feel like I was referring to you?
I wasn't really talking about the people who don't like the song. That's completely fine. Tastes differ.
However there are many maaaaaaaaaaaany people in here who would just hate to see Sweden winning simply because it's Sweden. Because tHeY aRe DeStRoYiNg OuR CoNtEsT and bla bla.

International jury this year

:au: Australia
:be: Belgium
:hr: Croatia
:lt: Latvia
:mt: Malta
:es: Spain
:de: Germany
:at: Austria

A bit shocked (and delighted) that there aren't any Nordic countries in it

As per usual, Eastern juries are underrepresented and instead we get two German speaking neighbors? How is that securing a diverse group? xshrug... Oh and I will miss the Israeli spokeswoman, she's fun!

I think they should have put the co-hosts Ukraine and UK there, don't they usually put the host country in that jury? xshrug

Btw is it Latvia or Lithuania? Mixed up the flags here...

I dont think that 1-2 eastern Juries more would change the Final Result tbh.

I'm glad Austria is in the IJ, so they can screw up Loreen. Hopefully, Germany will help us, because Teya & Salena are trending there also.

We did that with Dotter in 2020, we can do it again :devilish:

But it's strange that UK and Ukraine aren't in the juries. Belgium is 1% German also.

Måns Zelmerlöw has revealed that he was planning a comeback in the upcoming years but that he perhaps won’t in case Loreen wins ESC … hahaha holy shit the hate we would receive if we sent Måns again

I don't see Loreen winning Eurovision. Not at this point. The song is just there for me, the staging and her charisma are meant to sell it.

But if she were to win, then I would be reminded of 2013, when this bland unoriginal tacky cheese from Denmark was called winner 3 months before Eurovision, where actually a lot of better songs have been performed than Only Teardrops. 2013 was very frustrating, and 2023 could maybe turn out similarly. However after frustration, the phoenix rises from the ashes into epicdom, so 2024 is already set to be amazing.

2023 could also have a winner at a low common denomination. Just like 2011. Maybe Italy could squeak out a win.,
