The cool thing, if you like statistics, is that this song is NOT liked by 94ayd on this forum.... And 94ayd usually doesn't like songs with the potential to win... :unsure:
He hated the winner Alexander Rybak in 2009, he hated the winner Lena in 2010 and he hated the winner Loreen in 2012...
And he hates Cornelia Jacobs this year...

According to Cornelia's Instagram, she caught the coronavirus. Though I'm not a fan of her song, I hope the symptoms are mild and she has a quick recovery

I was 21 years old when I experienced my first love story with an older man. After only eight months, which began with overwhelming passion and ended in the barrenness of routine and a feeling that was soon extinguished, it all ended.

"Hold Me Closer" seems to be written precisely to describe the last time I saw the first love of my life, eleven years ago now.

Although it was clear that it was all over and I had written him a heartfelt letter telling him that I sensed everything and there was no point in going on, and after a face-to-face meeting to finally seal the end of this fleeting relationship, gripped by the anxiety of loneliness I begged him to sleep one last night with him, and so we did.

We went to his house and slept together. The space between us in that bed seemed miles long to me. The worst night of my life without a doubt, tossed between the regret that there would never be another one with him and the remorse for being dragged into such a situation with the sole purpose of hurting myself.

Well, you can see that the lyrics of this song really speak volumes for me.

WTF, Loreen was my number 1 in 2012 and probably also had Lena in my top 10. The rest is correct, though.

Fairytale is an awful circus act. I can’t stand it neither. And it cracked the code by combining Eastern and Scandi block voting. 2009 was one of those great years with the wrong winner (same as 2011, 2013, 2015, 2019)

I remember when you and I talked about Alexander Rybak back in 2009... We didn't like the song... And I know you are all OK with me "joking around".... :D I know you didn't dislike all songs I mentioned... I just wanted people to talk a bit more... Everytime I'm here it is so empty and silent...
