It's still rubbish, didn't deserve to qualify. Got by pretty much on the Swedish reputation in Eurovision.

I can't find out whether or not DR will give Sweden a favorable draw (11 to 13) on Saturday.

Yeah I can't figure it out either. Considering we were pretty early in the semi we may get a favorable draw. On the other hand it seems like the Danes have been working against us the entire competition

I fear they will give us #1, considering they put :am: 1st in the semi.

Sweden gave a winners performance last night. Armenia were just a mere fizzle in comparison and I fail to see what the hype is about for my own countries entry. I think Sanna has a pretty clear road now for victory with only Norway and possibly Austria standing in her way.

From the first half? That's a struggle...

It's very possible especially as the other favourites have also drawn the first half. She's now become the bookies favourite by a comfortable margin after last nights performance. I'd say only Norway or the Netherlands have the power to stop her.

The only other 'favourite' to draw first half is Armenia isn't it? The Netherlands, Hungary and UK all are in the second half...

I wasn't big fan of Sweden before contest, I started to like it a bit shortly before contest. But after yesterday performance, I'm totally convinced! I don't desire a Sanna to win (although, still it's better option than UK), but I really want this song to do well xup

Ukraine was third favourite for a long while (although dropped a couple of places after last night) and Hungary's odds were previously way out in comparison to the others but have grown a little better after the performance. The Netherlands were never a favourite but after last night they have become one. UK's odds have grown but Molly is still nowhere near Sanna. If you believe in her and don't mind a gamble, now's a good time to place a bet on her as you can still grab her at 10/1. I imagine Norway and Austria's odds will improve once they (almost certainly) reach the final on Thursday.

I agree that Sanna did a good job in her semi. But I will be very surprised if this wins! I dont see Sanna as a clear jury winner. There are other good voices this year, and there are other good ballads/slow songs. Sanna does not have a spectacular voice to really draw jury votes from all over Europe.
I cant see the song appealing to the younger crowd. I have never seen any statistics regarding the televoters age/sex and other demografics; but I dont think Undo has the power to capture enough televoters (But then again; Running Scared did - so I guess I might be completely wrong...).

Free translation of chosen parts

SVT-intern: Is there anything for us to worry about tonight?
CB: No no no, Sanna is safe as bank-vault! And the choir girls are the best there is. So no really ...
- unless we get some more of those crazy lights hahaha
SVT-intern: Have you received any reactions of Sanna from the other delegations?
CB: Sanna get very good unison words from all delegations, but there are other countries who get such words as well.
SVT-intern: Why is Sanna pictured as the favourite by the press and also by the ESC fans and "topping" among the betting firms?
CB: I think it's due to Sanna being a very skilled and experienced artist with a very good song. She's also well known among the ESC fans and has being in the game for a long time.

etc etc sorry. There're also pretty good interviews with Sanna and Fredrik Kempe. Sharp SVT-intern. :D

edit: Fredrik Kempe - what a nice guy! I never would have thought ...

Sanna won the public vote in her own country verses the youngest, hippest song going. If she won by the maturer vote then, you can't underestimate it. It's not just going to be young people voting on the night of Eurovision. Also I can't quote exactly but I read the average jury member age this year was somewhere in the late 30's (?), I might be wrong. It's not like she's come out and sung a Disney balled either. Her song is powerful and hard hitting (with modern synths) whilst still containing the twinkly piano verses. All bases are covered. After watching that semi final performance, she's definitely the one to beat.

Apart from Sweden, I think Hungary still have chances from the ones from the first semi; they are not out of the questions yet. I also think Ukraine may suprise in the final. I dont think any of these 3 are any clearer candidates for the win than the others. Even more so the running order taken into account.
Armenia definitely is out of the question - and I am very happy for it.
Tomorrow after the second semi we'll have a clearer view.

What an irony for Sanna that no one wants her to win. I guess she must feel it in the atmosphere, but then again I don't think she cares. She will fight to the last tone.

I actually want her to win. She's not my favourite but she gave the best performance and I think deserves it. I'd be happy with Norway, Austria or The Netherlands as well (those are the entries I like anyway that I think have a chance, obviously we are not going to the City of San Marino next year).
