Well the only big show France Télé has is Les Victoires de la Musique and the closest thing it looks is... Festivali i Kengës maybe... 3 well, our model of big events must be Sanremo as well... So they are as creative as our Albanian fellows... And as television is ruled by the State, it's only a shelter for all the friends of each president unable to do real things... :twisted: As maaaaaaany things there... TF1 used to have big shows, that looked like MF for instance. They even intended to launch their own Eurovision, but it was a huuuuuge flop. The only crossover with Eurovision was Yulia Savicheva taking part in both shows in 2004 ! It was called "Eurobest"...
Anyway had we a real NF, it would be even worse than a Skopje Fest... 1 How does it come we have such a crappy TV ? 1
They spend their lifetime making censorship. Last case, the other day, in Plus Belle la vie (do you know it ?), our big soap, Mirta, the grandma, was taught how to smoke cannabis (3). Now, they face court cases and they apply the Sate censors because it was accused to promote the use of drugs.

Yeah well we're speaking of top 10 now, a lot of ballads failed too.
And just the fact that there was a lot of ballads last year will not make it better for Sanna this year.
What I said about the '' up, up and up '' in Gravity is that I think the song just goes up, up and up. In a regular song it starts of a bit slow, it builds up, and it reaches the top, then it goes down etc. and in Gravity it feels like the song just goes up, up and up. It never goes down or get slower. I'd say there was 3 ballads, because Birds is not a ballad!

I'm sorry for my late response but I was busy.
I can't understand what excactly you consider as ballad but as I can understand you consider the slow songs.I can understand that you love Ace's song but the matter that your country choose other song doesn't make it bad...I'm sure that if I were you I would do the same thing or even worse but you see that it likes in many people and it may gets their votes.You will be probably right because Sweden became Sweden after 2011 (and if I remember well last year they were out if final with ballad).
Personally I love both the songs although none of them was my winner but I would gave the same point that I give now and if it was Ace.Also Ace can take part in MF again and maybe won(but better not the next year), but Sanna is in MF seven(?) years I think...

I definitely didn't watch much TV when I was in Lyon. I think I only watched TV like 5 times 1 of them was watching Les Ch'tis with some girl friends 2 2, 1 was watching a documentary about rural Montenegro (damn, if this was the Montenegrin thread, I would have already been on topic ), 1 was France Ô watching the cheesiest Moroccan soap, then the last two was Eurovision

Here's my strategy for France. You guys should start by electing a president who cares about Eurovision. Since the TV stations are safe havens for the President and his buddies, then they could manage the NF or internal selection Lukashenko style. Then Eurobest will be really Eurobest not Euroflop Your NF might have been as bad as Skopje fest but at least the AV equipment was not falling apart before our eyes

OMG, I watched a couple of episodes Plus Belle La Vie, it's the most BORING show ever, sorry . It reminds me of afternoon American soaps. You know those shows that have been on-air for at least 30 years

Anyway, I still strongly believe that Sanna should have won with this song instead
