Yesterday Loreen went to Beijing China to participate in HBTV New Year Carnival Night(?). What it means exactly is somewhat unclear as she will perform in Berlin on New Years Eve.

Loreen's performance will be aired through Hubei TV on 1st January 2013 at 19:30 Beijing Time (GMT+8). You can watch it through webcast of Hubei TV.

I'm optimistic about Loreen's success here in China. China has been an open country more than ever, music from all the Europe enter China via Internet or other media easily. One of my friend says he heard once in a small grocery in the countryside playing Lane Moje (Serbia & Montenegro, 2004), he asked where its owner found this piece of music, the owner said it is easy to be found online.

After 2010, the only Eurovision participant ever visited China was Mika Newton and she gained great fame over China. Loreen may be the first ever Eurovision winner that visits China in the very year that she won the contest. Now we see an rapidly increasing number of Eurovision fans here in China, we're glad to see it still growing.

A good example how Eurovision presence is changing China's music market is Jedward. Jedward never won a single edition of ESC nor has been in China, but in China there are already plenty of Jedward fans.

People will get to know Loreen and love Loreen here in China. There will also be more Eurovision fans and stronger Eurovision presence here in China.

Thanks, this is just amazing! Superfun to explore Loreen on Baidu. But how does Baidu work? As I understand it's a search engine of Baidu pages, but people can create threads and post comments very much like a gigantic forum, right?

Baidu is a search engine, but it offers various services just like Google. One of them is "tieba" (or postbar), where people can communicate like in a forum. Every "tieba" has a theme, for example, Loreen's tieba is where Loreen fans talk about her.

ZDF gave Loreen a fantastic honour to be the artist playing the last song of 2012 and celebrate the new year of 2013 in Berlin. In the show there was also a new choreography for My heart is refusing me designed by Ambra Succi.

I saw Loreen on stage at Hubei TV live, but I'm not sure I saw the whole performance though. Great! I think they played Euphoria entirely with the Chinese band and Chinese backing vocals (at least it seemed that way). Interesting! It would be fun to see the show.

I know, but I meant for the future. Atleast Helene seems not totally anti Eurovision considering she performed ESC songs in her shows and now even include an ESC winner in her own tour.
