Just found this:

- in the semis, the one song that got the most televotes after voting round 1 will directly qualify for the final. 4 more will go on to the second round of voting where 1 more will qualify for the final, 2 will go to Andra Chansen and the last one will drop out.

- in the final, instead of having 11 Swedish juries, there will be 5 Swedish and 6 International juries, so the total number will stay at 11.

Is Bjorkman under some kind of bet to make MF as needlessly complicated as possible each year?

I was thinking the same thing? I'm trying to understand the reasoning behind all of that. Why not let the top 2 qualify? It's just too messy and overly complicated.

Hmm this system would give away who won each semi, no? And SVT is (usually) hugely against the public knowing such things :?

Yeah, the new system will just increase the 'sympathy' votes which I am not a big fan of. We will find out soon enough if this was a good idea but I'm sceptical.

Worse? Why do you say that? I believe the worst year in MF AND ESC was 2007!!! Although in Melodifestivalen there were some really good songs!

^But i'm not mentioning about the songs as you see I adore MF and love most of the songs. I was talking and complaining about the stages. MF deserves much better stages IMO especially this one looks so cheap :roll:

Again the worst stage was in 2007 2007 and they had a simple floor without lights. I liked the stages of 2008 and 2009. As for 2010 it's just a digital photo. We just have to wait to see the real stage.

2007 was the best stage in my opinion! I didn't like 08..too much steel for my taste

I feel the 2010 stage as a mix of the 3 recent stages, but I do like this one also!

I did like both 2009 and 2007, while 2008 was terrible.

I feel the 2010 stage as a mix of the 3 recent stages, but I do like this one also!

The only thing I liked of 2007 was the lift they had. It was nice but I wanted a more shiny floor.
Yes in 2008 there was too much steel but I liked the runway (or how they call it). Sanna Nielsen's performance was great! (My winner of 2008 )

OMG, I LOVE Pain of Salvation's snippet....

I also like Jessica Andersson and Ola, really good songs too.

I think I should like Salem too, but I can't hear what he sings. His voice drowning in the music.

I'm so looking forward to see their performances!

I thought that "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" was playing when I first clicked on Linda's overall this is probably the most level playing field of any MF semi I can remember, nothing really stands out as either really good or really bad :? Pain of Salvation is probably my favourite for now!
