My favorite won so I am very happy. 'Cider Hill' was decent and I would have been okay with them as well but Kuunkuiskaajat is very different and I think it has a decent chance doing well in Oslo.
I agree with every word. Maybe they had not the best songs this year but this one at least stands out.

I'm sure this point is going to be totally ignored but this song is really similar to "Hulluna Humpasta", the only real difference are the performers :? I don't get how everyone can hate one and love the other!

OMG...what a bad song for Finland this year :( For me is the worst one, between the chosen entries so far....

Prediction: Very low chances to qualify... :?

Yeah, I don't really see any similarities between these two songs, either. The winner is definately more 'traditional' but i think it's the simplicity I find appealing.

Eh, both are Finnish folk songs with an Oktoberfest-style beat? What's not similar in that? But people are blinded by the performers as usual...

Maybe I'm just no expert on Finnish folk music, but then neither will 99.9% of the people who can vote for this.

"People" aren't blinded by performers. Actually I don't associate Eläkeläiset with folk. Kuunkuiskaajat are more folkish, imo, and it also doesn't remind me Finnish folk. It's rather a mixture of German, Finnish and Russian, maybe even gipsy music which is typical for taverns )))

I like it more with every listening :)

This is an perfect example of why i should never bet

I am surprised that Amadeus didn't even make it to the superfinal  WTF........and Elakelaiset ONLY third?!!!!

I am pleased with the winner, it was #2. It is different, cool, and something new for ESC :D

My #1 for now  I don't expect it to end extremely high, but i really like it.

So it is Finnish folk, interesting. But not my cup of tea so nil points. Right now the worst that can happen is that after I while I start to like the song.

One of my pre-favourites, though I had many. It's a very refreshing tune, love the fact that it's in Finnish and represents the Finnish folklore. :D 8 points from me. This reminds me of 1996 which was in Oslo as well.

Eläkeläiset only 3rd?!?!?!

TF, you're only human. Good job you're not that betting man though, eh?

Poor choice, I think. Heli, Nina and Elakelaiset all much better. I think Finland is almost guaranteed to fail in the semis. Shame. I'll just go to YT to remind myself of great past Finnish entries.

All together now...

Vaik sata salamaa eeske tulta ja koko elamaa rajahtaa

Because the song they have chosen has nothing that makes you remember it. I only listened to it last about 2 hours ago and I can't remeber what it sounds like. All I remember is that one of the blonde girls looks a bit mad. Just my opinion, but the three others I mentioned were much better written, produced and performed and I'm saying this as someone whose musical tastes are mostly folk.
