Second with pot C, and #1 with the newbies! I'm also surprised I finished top 12 with the "metalheads"

Again, it doesn't mean that the pot is of metalheads if it happens to contain some people who share the love for metal music. How many metal songs are in WV per edition? 2-3 on average? It's not like there are 20 metal songs per edition and they vote only for them. They (have to) vote for other genres as well.

I'm also surprised that no song sung in French has won the whole thing (the only one I know that came close was "Envole-moi" in 16)

Tal & M.Pokora - Envole-Moi has the best results from French songs

65% of the winning songs were in English (including Lebanesse winner which was partially in English).

Also, for Number 2, the language is Irish, not Gaelic, although people refer as Gaelic, it is officially Irish.

The first song ever that was in Spanish and won, was "Cambio Dolor" by Natalia Oreiro and :ar: Argentina! :D

To be fair, not as many songs in Finnish, Swedish or Irish (Not Gaelic), took part as the amount of Spanish songs, so in a way, it's a bit of an advantage.
