:10:p from me, I love it. If she improves her vocals she can do better than people expect, I think televoters will like this anyway.
Spanish people need to stop hating, its not like they had an ESC winner in that line up. Jorge wouldnt even have done better than Llamame, llamame. Realistically for a (somewhat) decent result St Pedro was the safest choice ( going for some esc jury support ), but not with that staging. I will never understand how they created such a beautiful, aesthetic, poetic video clip and for the live performance they just threw 4 strippers at him lol.
Good luck Nebulossa, surprise us all in May!

I don't see any problem with the lyrics.

The message is clear, strong, a social critique

Nebulossa were intelligent, in the way they "built" the song, the presentation itself.
They may have a % of dislikes on YouTube, but the truth is that they won Benidorn.
A love/hate song can be good at Eurovision. It will all depend on how they manage to sell it in May.

Truth be told, when Blanca Paloma doesn't achieve a better result... Perhaps it's hard for a Spaniard to think about valuing the "quality" of the music itself...
For me, it's the riskiest entry among the 8 songs in the final: it will either do very well or very poorly (but sometimes this risk pays off).

Knowing a bit about how the music market in Spain works, an 8th place on Spotify for Zorra seems great to me! And that will be the most important thing; why send a song to Europe when it doesn't even find success in our own country? I hope it can become a hype in Spain and maybe even reach our neighboring country, Portugal ehehe.
Good luck, neighbors!

Only almost 5000 votes for both? That is so bad and unrepresentative.
Worse than bad. It’s really a joke at this point, so I really hope they implement a free voting app where people could vote, for example, once a day during the week and then an extra vote during the show. That would:

- make more people know the songs in advance (they could use official audios to make it more fair).
- that would attract more viewers to the actual shows.
And more importantly, and as it only counts 25%, more people would vote anyway, which would be much more representative.

Ah, and 50%-50% means 80 points from the juries and 80 from the public. It feels like they are doing it on puropose.

If Spain wants to organise ESC one day, please make Benidorm fest a prestigious festival and not this non-sense system of voting. I hope they will really thing about his small (but very important) things.

what do you mean by this ? That the song will be a meme, that she's gonna have more than 80 to public but almost nothing from jury, ....?

Not even that since Poland mostly got the big points from their diaspora countries (Ukraine, Lithuania, the UK, Ireland ,Iceland, Germany), which Spain doesn't have.

Anyway, I was mourning the loss of St. Pedro. But Nebulossa is still much better than Jorge, at least it has soul and they seem lovely. Still, I don't think this is great for Benidorm. I guess they're lucky Abraham Mateo is coming next year.

That's not what I meant. I mean that Nebulossa's "Zorra" is going to be the surprise hit that nobody expects and will do much better than everyone thinks.

I am back again with some numbers (that's my favourite thing)

Zorra entered the Spotify Viral (Global) at position number 3.

Well, 19th in final is okay but not that high, if spain reach 19th place it's gonna be ofc better than bottom 6, but not that much.

Anyway, words marked

A 56 year old woman with a song titled bitch/slut in Spanish with 2 dancers who effectively strip naked on stage is what I bloody love about this contest
she's only 56? I thought she was much older :censored:

There was a band called Fado Bicha in the portuguese nf back in 2022, "bicha" does translate to "faggot", had they won the nf EBU would have to allow them to compete because you can't censor the name of a band.
Also to be noted that due to Portugal mostly sending songs in portuguese it's possible that one of the songs in the past or that one day in the future there will be a song with the word "curva" in the lyrics. In portuguese "curva" it means "curve", but it some countries in eastern europe kurva means slut. Will EBU ask the portuguese singer to not sing curva when and if that happens? I do wonder...
that's different because we know that "curva/curve" means something different in German and other languages to our "kurva/kurwa"

I find it a bit unfair to the artists who have had to censor out their songs which would have included much softer vulgar words, such as "shit". But I understand that it's difficult to find the right balance when it comes to this because public broadcasters are involved

Holy sh... very nice lyrics! And the song is great!
Maybe not 12, but a 10 from me!

Even if she looks older than she is... so what? Age is only a number.

Zorra is in 3rd position in the Global Top 50 Viral in Spotify... I just can't believe the phenomena this song is creating. It's spreading rapidly among people outside the ESC Bubble thanks to the, to my view, unnecessary debate press is creating on the song (for obvious reasons the most conservative portions of the Spanish society are not happy with the choice).

We won't win the contest for sure, nor even reach the top 15, but at least it is the first time in a loooooong time an Eurovision song from Spain has become a talking point for so many people!!

I am really vibing with this song :D Her voice is soothing. If someone else sang it, I would have expected some higher notes especially after the bridge/last chorus but she handles it perfectly. I don't expect Spain to score high in the final but it doesn't make me love this entry any less. I big fat 10 from me!
