As long as it's similar to the live version xlove

Weird that they didn't wait to publish the music video with the revamped audio.

Not that unusual for Spain, it happened to Chanel last year too.

5th place in the odds already. It’s very tight between Israel, Spain and Uk. Last year on the 16th March Channel was number 9 (she didn’t manage to get into the top 5 until the 15th April). I don’t think Blanca will manage to get much higher than that, no before rehearsals start. Norway is still too far away, while Ukraine, Finland and Loreen are just unbeatable at this point.
I know the odds don’t mean anything, but what’s clear is that many people love the song while others (quite a lot tbh) put her last out of 37 songs. At this point, what’s your prediction? For me a top 5 in the jury is more than likely to happen, but in terms of the televote I can’t see any countries from the North/East of Europe giving any points to this, so I guess she can scratch some points from neighbours, Mediterranian countries, the Balkans and maybe even caucasian.
Scandinavian countries, the Baltics and Centre Europe will forget about this for sure. Let’s say 150 points from the jury and 80 from the televote? 8th place in the end is my prediction. Maybe 5th place with a lot of luck or lower top 10 if they are less lucky. Or we could experience a big flop and see Spain in the bottom again. Awww this is so unpredictable this year.

What do you think?

The odds will be more accurate when rehearsals start and she’s doing a revamp. I think it has the most potential to get the best result out of the Big 5 and 8th place would be my prediction. The odds shortened after every rehearsal with UK and Spain last year. It’s much better for people to love or hate the song than everyone to have a neutral opinion.

I agree. But we already have a live performance of Blanca and she stated she won’t change much. They just want it to be more appealing to the European viewer, and also stated they will include some stuff they couldn’t manage to add in Benidorm Fest.
The song itself I guess it will have a stronger instrumentation, which I don’t reckon is necessary as the melody is basically made by the use of polifony.

Let me add here one last thing: the revamp will be shown in Liverpool and this year we won’t be seeing the rehearsals, so I don’t know how the odds can go up and down without the clips we are used to having.

There might be EBU content and the press will get to see the dress rehearsals. I wouldn’t worry about the odds that much and fan opinion is nothing compared to the public who don’t look for rehearsal content. A lot of fans like the songs they listen to daily on Spotify whereas the public vote for the whole performance on the night.

Spain has huge potential for the staging IF they take it.They can use the lighting in Liverpool to superb effect. The key to if they win or not is around the soul to the moon elements. If they can really sell the emotion there and really show what it means then they are not out of winning.Sweden and Finland can both be beaten .

Maybe I'm a bit biased cause I'm Spanish and Blanca's song is not that suprising to me in terms of genre, but had this song not been from my country, this would have still been my winner. I'm so proud we managed to send something different and unique, a modern flamenco touch with great vocals that is far from mainstream songs as last year was, no matter what the result is.

People here compare her to Rosalía, but come on, she did not invent modern flamenco fusion... I'm sure if Fusa Nocta had won people would have said the same.

It's gonna be difficult to beat Sweden and Finland of course (my 3rd and 4th respectively), but I still have some faith in our 3rd victory, I feel with the hard work RTVE is doing with Benidorm Fest, it is not that far in time.

In my eyes, Spain this year is a fierce contender. The song/performance/her creates a moment, people are in awe when they first experience it live. So I think you have a real shot (if not to win, top 5 for sure). I hope 2023 is really more open than the odds make us feel right now.

Contender? What? Everyone of you think this is winner material? I am really skeptical about the chances of this. I see clearly Europe being REALLY annoyed by the Eaeaeaeaeaea and probably a MASSIVE televote flop.
Do you really think people will vote for this just "because is art"?

It's not a contender for the victory but it's a unique, different and amazing entry that should be rewarded with a top5 at the end.

People are underestimating or foreshadowing televote results based on what they are personally groomed to hear on Eurovision.

Let me recollect top 5 of televote in 2021.

1. Italy
2. Ukraine

3. France
4. Finland
5. Iceland

Let's not be hypocritical or pretend smart with a benefit of hindsight - anyone here who has guessed that Kate's folklore style singing over a techno / trance matrix would come second? Not many.

The biggest televote flops had been some of bubble's favorites like San Marino, Malta or Cyprus, and we have many female acts just like that this year.

The worst kind were those who couldn't accept the fact that Maneskin's running order was enough to sweep away their fanwankers' favorite Pravi from 1st place. They'd been calling out with derogatory statements anyone who wrote that obvious truth here.

So, simply disregard those that put Spain dead last on 37th place because these people do that simply out of their "closeted" view on music. Having been a Eurovision fan for 15 years didn't make them music experts nor had it enabled them to open up their views about music and understand different people's preferences in music.

Your words (always) give me hope. Do you think there's any chance 'you-know-who' doesn't win like foreshadowed and force-fed to exhaustion? Is there hopes this year can still be interesting?

And let's not forget Salvador Sobral's fully deserved victory. Did anyone expect him to win Eurovision when he was chosen in Festival da Canção?

I lowkey have some faith in the televote because, the Benidorm Fest final night, I was watching the show with some foreign friends outside the Eurovision bubble and with Blanca's first note, they all got goosebumps and immediately wanted her to win. On the other hand, some older people just hate the song here in Spain. We'll see...
