Llegó la mami
La reina, la dura, una Bugatti
El mundo está loco con este party
Si tengo un problema, no es monetary
Yo vuelvo loquito’ a todos los daddies
Yo siempre primera, nunca secondary
Apenas hago doom, doom
Con mi boom, boom
Y le tengo dando zoom, zoom
Por Miami

Y no se confundan
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazones
Solo existe una
No hay imitaciones (Na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, morе, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suеlo, lo, lo, lo, lo (Yeah)
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)
Take a video, watch it slo mo

Te gusta todo lo que tengo
Te endulzo la cara en jugo de mango
Se te dispara cuando la prendo
Hasta el final, yo no me detengo
Take a sip of my cola-la
Un poco salvaje na-na-na
Make it go like pa-pa-pa-pa
Like pa-pa-pa-pa-pa

Y no se confundan (Y no se confundan)
Señora’ y señore’
Yo siempre ‘toy ready (Yo siempre estoy ready)
Pa’ romper cadera’, romper corazone’
Solo existe una (Solo existe una)
No hay imitaciones (Na, na, na)
Y si aún no me crees, pues me toca mostrárselo (Oye)

Take a video
Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more
Voy a bajarlo hasta el suelo, lo, lo, lo, lo
If you wish, you could do this dembow (Do this dembow)
Drives you loco (Yeah)

Watch it slo mo, mo, mo, mo, mo
Booty hypnotic
Make you want more, more, more, more, more

spain, what is u doin

Great NF overall, quite varied. I'll share my ranking in a few days when I'll listen to the songs thoroughly again, but I know I can get behind a few of them.
I am really glad to see Tanxugueiras in the Spanish NF but I don't find Terra as impactful as their other works, I don't think they will be my favorites here.

Gosh, these songs are so dreadful... At least half of them is just loud noise. And why does :it: music and Sanremo manage to have so much variety while :es: music is the same rhythm and style all over again and again???

Woooooooh, what a marvelous selection RTVE sent us ! Let's see how it ends, i find some tracks a bit weaker but on and on, this is a quite strong selection.

My thoughts :
Azúcar Moreno : You can definitely hear this is Azúcar Moreno, with their typical sound, but revamped with modern sound. Doesn't sound old or outdated in any way. Combined with a great chorus, this is a solid track !

Blanca Paloma : This is intimate, ethereal, but most of all, really beautiful. Don't know how it would work in Torino, but this has definitely something enough to stand out.

Chanel : A really competent entry, with great production and deep sound, but quite forgettable in the end.

Gonzalo Hermida : Blas Canto 2.0... It's cute, he sings well, but... meh.

Javiera Mena : This is upbeat, fresh, without being too random, exactly the kind of bops i really dig. I wanna dance to this.

Luna Ki : The only one i stopped listening to. This is too messy for me with too much autotune.

Marta Sango : Woohoo, the return of Fyr og Flamme ! Just kidding. A great old school track, with just enough melancholy in the sound for making it not too cliché not too sad. Typically my kind of gem, one of my favourites out there !

Rayden : This has great, great potential for me. The chorus is not really catchy but it has definitely something you can remember, the rhythm, the voice, the vibe... I dunno, in my eyes this is Sanremo level and it means a lot from me. Another great one !

Rigoberta Bandini : Hands down my favourite from this selection. Again, i really dig this kind of song, mixing old-school electro-pop sound with modern arrangements, with y'know, just that hint, that little hint of sadness, dancing while you're depressed late in the street, a bit drunk, when you want to hug everyone just because you want to and because this song, in your heart, tells you to. Maybe it makes no sense at all lol but something happens for me during this three minutes, and that ending is just beyond beautiful. It just makes my heart beat. Also, makes me think, in a way, of Graciela's "A Vida Sem Acontecer" on latest FdC in the global vibe of the song, but maybe more upbeat. Great, great, great track !

Sara Deop : In the other side, this one feels nothing to me. Again, really competent, with nice work on the bass lines, but i feel i already listened to it a thousand times.

Tanxugueiras : Well, well, well. I gotta say i'm not 100% convinced by this track at first glance. A bit flat here and there, a bit repetitive. But, but, but. This has the greatest potential, stagewise, of this selection. This HAS something striking there, plus the production is massive and quite epic. So, well, let's see. But yeah, this is definitely something, and this would be a great entry too.

Unique : Quite cheap and outdated, the sensation of hearing I Love You Mi Vida number 2. Hey, life has changed since 2007.

Varry Brava : My other favourite for the selection. I'm quite biased because this is exactly the kind of sound i like, i couldn't help bumping my head during this three minutes. It's upbeat, really well produced, and i can definitely the italodisco influences in this, especially in the synths. Everything just... fits perfectly for me in this track. When i hear the song, i just wanna drive fast under a blazing sun, drinking ice-cold mint lemonade, in one word, this feels like summer to me. And a track that pays homage to la Carrà couldn't be a bad one. I really dig this.

Xeinn : Not gonna lie, at first i was like "oh well, another The Weeknd wannabe..." But in the end, this track just kept me interested throughout the three minutes, and the chorus is catchy as hell. And again, this has great production. It would be a really great entry also.

Congrats RTVE, you just did the greatest glow up of the year so far ! xclap

I actually don't. This selection is the best proof again. Sanremo has so many different music genres while 80% of :es: songs manage to sound the same all over again and again...

San Remo has been on for many decades while Benidorm Fest is celebrating its first edition. I actually don't think they sound the same, the selection is diverse and it's a huge step forward from almost 2 decades of disasters. I think we should value that instead of throwing stones and say the selection is dreadful. I personally think there's a hard work behind :)

This will sound strange maybe, but Azucar Moreno – “Postureo” sounds fresh for ESC in this lineup.. :D

I agree with you. Every part of the regional culture is part of the culture of Spain. "Terra" is a powerful tune and I can even imagine it could reach the ESC "Top 10" or even... win!

In a certain sense, I could also be wrong, I felt that the way of singing and the sound remotely recall the Sardinian culture (which in fact had strong contacts with Spain in the past). When my mother listened to this song she felt something that brought our cultures closer together.
I love Terra, but as I said, without a good staging it will lose part of its appeal. And let's not forget that this is our Achilles heel!

So you are from Sardinia? Well, I think Sardinia is one of the most 'primitive' regions of Italy (primitive in the sense of keeping its pre-Roman history as part of its identity). As Terra sounds raw, a bit primitive too (Galician folklore is strongly influenced by its pre-Roman celtic culture), perhaps that's why this song reminds you of the Sardinian culture.
