Plus the 'hey' sound in the chorus is giving me cringe pains. Please please puhlease don't do that on stage.
I am trying to tolarate it for the time being cuz it's kinda low in the studio version but when it's live it will sound much worse.

I havent been a major fan of La Venda - and I am still not. But the revamp gave this song a big push in the right direction imo. Yeah, I guess it sounds more "polished" (and also more professional), but it's still a fun party-song. And somehow it sounds a bit more spanish with this arrangement.
And I too like the new introduction to the ere-ere part.
I will upgrade to an 8. And if TVE for once manages to do this right on stage (I have to see it to believe it, though) I think Spain might be looking at a quite decent result in Tel Aviv.

What the hell have they done? This leaves my top 10 now, because in polishing it and making it more "mainstream", they have removed all the elements that made it good. The brass, the drums, the frantic, non-stop pace of the music and the impact of the chorus.

My 8 becomes a 5. I hate that I have to do this.

I'm still liking this, it's a fun song and I don't see much of the same genre from other countries. Sadly, I'm prepared to the Spain curse of being in the right side of the scoreboard.

Like many of you has said, the revamp has sort of sucked the energy out of the song. Yes, the original version sounded it has cheap production but that's the charm of the song. It was meant to be fun, in your face and very carnival-like. But now, it is just a polished song that is pretty middle of the road. It is still a good song, but that's about it.

I hope Miki can sell this version with conviction in his performance. If not, the new revamp studio version is just in the wrong direction.

Marginal revamp is being served by France. This dude has said "Oh I know my song is not enough and I'll work on it so it's much much better". Revamp out and I can't hear the difference.

In this case (not that I care, it's was an ok song and still is an ok song) the song changed more than just a bit.

they really are not lol. they just adjusted it for a stage and it's basically how it was going to sound in eurovision regardless, so it's better that people are weirded out now than later, because god knows that anything sounding even remotely different on stage will be pinned down to OMG HIS VOCALS ARE SO BAD EW because that's the only criticism some fans can make.

The first version was fast just for the sake of being fast.

In the new one you can hear instruments better.
